Hi doc. I'm not sure if im getting it correctly but based from the diagram what I did was to take the hose from EGR valve and plug it on the 1st (nearest/white coded) swirl valve actuator.
I also plugged a screw to the hose originallyconnected to 1st (nearest/white coded) swirl valve actuator to shut it of.
    Here's the diagram.

By the way those colored lines represent the hoses.

    Hi guys,
does anyone knows where to buy the key fob ?
Does the nissan dealer can order parts for a model that was never imported ?
Important for me is the remote part for the keyless entry, the part with the two switches for OFF CLOSE with the central locking.
Maybe a remote key from a other nissan model is suitable.

I am going to check if that butterfly valve is held by screws and remove the whole stupid thing.

Also if you want a nicer looking MAF adaptor hit me up when I am back next week.
Think I have 1 or 2 left. Mine are stainless steel coated with rust proofing paint then coated with 1500F paint.

I removed the EGR assembly so I just need to disable the hose going to EGR. If you use the plate blanking method you need to re route the hoses and have the egr and shutdown valve connected to the shutdown solenoid.

Doc I will tell you what I have done, I have removed the air box and took it off the my car and I am using my old air filter which is taped around the air intake and works well.
But the air filter is getting dirty.
You know I live far but I would love to get a MAF adaptor from you if shipping cost its not too much.
By next month I will get one done anyway. Have a nice week everyone.

Dvldoc I have an e50 3.2td automatic and was wondering on what clutch kit to buy for it as a replacement as I am not sure of the type of clutch of the dimensions or how many teeth/splines they have and can't find nothing on google. Is there any other vehicles in the uk that have the same part/dimensions to make my life easier to get part for her as parts are hard to find in the UK with it being classed as a grey import over here. Any help you could give on some what universal parts would be a big help thanks in advance. Regards voov

09364526374-Angel. Dau, Mabalacat. He rebuilt my Elgrand after I made a stup1d mistake of forgetting to replace the radiator cap .

My Elgrand is purring like a cat now when idling and makes heads turn in nlex (especially the traffic guys) when I hit 150 because I forget to look at the tach and not let it hit 3k rpm...

I was able to set the mirrors on my elgrand qd32eti. First, set the left mirror to desired angle by using the power controls. Next, have a friend to hold and keep the left mirror in place, then set the right mirror to desired angle. Done.

    Hi,
Guessing that needs resetting everytime you use the fold in feature of the mirrors? (I need to do that often due to tight parking spaces in Manila)
Is it possible to adjust the clocking on the mirrors permanently? IE rotate the mirrors on the shaft a bit?

    Hi dvldoc,
Thank you so much for the goog advice you give. Im glad I found this forum through Google. I recently acquired a used e50 (ZD30), 106,000 kms, am the third owner. I have read through this forum, got some info and made plans to do some modifications.
The vehicle has some problems, hill climb is painfully slow and powerless, no matter what I try to do. Then the radiator was fast loosing coolant, without any visible leaks. What could be the issue?
Otherwise the vehicle starts and idles perfectly.

Then my last question, which ebay sellers do you trust to sell quality affordable manual boost controllers, boost gauge and oil catch cans?
Thank you all for such an informative forum.

Hi everyone! I'm very new to this forum and was wondering if any of you have encountered problems with the aircon of their elgrand.

My elgrand is 1997 QD. With regard to the AC problem, the front AC cuts off after a short while especially when it gets cold, but then the rear just keeps on going. The front AC resumes itself after a few minutes but then cuts off again when the temp cools down.

Has any experienced the same issue? and how did you guys deal with it?

    Thanks in advance,
    David

Wow, can't believe there's this much info on the Elgrand. We've recently gotten a 1997 Granvia 1KZ as part of a debt settlement. Being a converted van, there's lots to do to keep it in top shape and there's hardly anything posted about Granvia's here.

There are many shared problems here like the steering, mirrors, scarcity of certain parts etc... Am still reading at page 20+ [emoji1]

Ive been driving one for about 4 years now. Has its share of headaches, being a subic vehicle and converted, but if you have a decent knowledge of car internals you can make it work.
