run the engine untill warm sir, then while engine is running open oil filler cap and take out dipstick, if ever may compression leak na yung piston/valve seals it should show up as oil being pumped out...if it's from the oil filler, there's a leak with the valve seals, if it's from the dipstick hole, there's a leak with the piston rings/liner/piston

gandang umaga mga sirs! natuloy ang deal nmen kagabi...but sa ibang seller, ganda ng nakuha kong BB, latang lata, walang kalampag at swabeng swabe ang hatak...sabi ng utol ko at kasama nya (since cla yung mrunong tumingin). ramdam ko din nman tahimik pa makina...I can now say I'm a proud Bluebird owner!.

(though yung 1 window eh mabagal umangat, sabi langisan lng daw...tas walang tail lights, bka pundido daw. super intact ang interiors at need lang ng detailing. There are minor issues sa body but sobrang hindi ganun ka halata. Ang linis din po ng engine bay, konting ayus lang cguro ng wirings.

After everything, pauwi na kami kagabi along Commonweath Ave. bigla nalang namatay making, chinoke ng driver, ayaw pa din...we ended up pushing it to the side. tuyong tuyo daw ang carbs, tinry buhusan ng gas, ayaw pdin magstart, but may kuryente po...ayaw lang humigop or umakyat ng gas sa carbs...(at this stage sobrang nalungkot nko, kc para kong namigay ng pera and mdyo nasagad savings ko now) we called the previous owner, ang sabi nya kakalinis lang daw ng carbs nun, wag daw i-choke baka malunod. Ipahinga lang daw sandali. Nga po pla, before this dillema happened, dapa na ung gas gauge ng oto, tas umikot p kming 3x sa sm fairview kasi di namin alam palabas dun...hehehe! but ngpa-gas din 1k nung makalabas kmi dun...since ayw talaga mgstart, we thought kelangan na pa-tow...(P2500 yun!) umalis muna utol ko to get money.

after round about an hour and a half, wala pdin utol ko, pasig kokasi tas traffic p kagabi, I tried turning the engine on,ngstart po sxa, one click lng at hindi namamatay. hinayaan ko lng idle until dumating ung utol naman ng GF ko, konting check ginawa nila sa carbs, at pinatakbo, okay na okay naman daw...ganda nga raw ng hatak...di nila malaman kung anu tlg nangyari, tingin nila ngbara lang ang carbs but ok ndn naman...nung pag-dating po ng utol ko naman, pinatakbo namin from commonwealth ave to pasig, wala po nging problema, hinahataw pa nga ng utol ko, ayus naman, wala po tlg naging problema, ngayun nasa talyer po sxa, pina-pacheck na namin ang carbs...pupuntahan namin this morning.

92 model ba yan sir? kasi alam ko 91 model up na bluebird have EFI na (CA20E)...so there is no carb.

but if it is a carb engnie (CA20S)try using carb cleaner first...140 petot lang from any autosupply or ace/handyman.

i would also advice you to change the timing belt, even if the previous owner said they just repaced it recently...mainam na sigurado. kasi kapag napatiran ka ng timing belt it's not something that you can change by the roadside.

sir converted na po kasi yan makena ng bluebird mo. malamang nalunod sa gas ang carb mo. ask the seller kng nag palit sya ng fuel pump ng pang carb. kung stock na fuel pump ang nakalagay malamang lunod parati yan dahil mag kaiba ang fuel pump ng injected sa carbs.

Good day mga Sir! Update lang sa BB ko...Had to change fuel pump, sabe ng mekaniko ngsstop sxa gumana pag umiinit na, nauubos nga raw gas sa baso and also as per prev ownerm 2 years ago since pinalitan nya yun..Another thing, nagpalit din kme ng Hydrovac, tigas kasi ng preno sobra...onting tapak lang kagat agad, walang play...

So far ok naman na sxa, binalik ko lang talyer this morning kc almost 3k RPM nya sa idling...tas umaabot 4k pag nag-aircon...papatimpla ko lang ng tama, may maingay din sa ilalim, at mukang yung sa tambucho, loose knot lang daw yun..and pa-add ng goma or busing yung fuel pump, maingay kasi pag tumatama sa lata...

Hopefully maubos na kelangan ipagawa before friday...back to work na kc ko and I'm hoping to use my BB pgpasok...
