anong fuse yung kinalikot niyo? yung sa loob ng cabin or sa may engine bay na fuse box?

do i still need to open my gas tank to check if the fuel indicator still working?

*teamnitro, how much ung grounding kit?sounds good..i have experience lately na under powered ung BB ko, parang kulang sa hatak. i have checked the engine, transmission, changed oil and spark plugs, pero ganun pa din. sabi nga sakin baka tune up lang or sa electrical ang prob.a good grounding may solve the prob!

*doclaps2004, naka balot ng black stockings ung corner lamps ko, i got the idea sa mga nagsset up ng motorcycle. madali tlaga mabasag mga corner lamps kapag hindi pantay sa fender, puputok na lang ng kusa. the trick is luwagan mu ung screw / holder connecting to the head light para hindi pwersado ung ilaw. don't get taiwan lamps, dami scratches. dapat japan made bro..i need both sides naman.

We have the same problems so far, even the engine performance. I'm planning to get the grounding kit also from sir ferdie, once I feel more confident in driving to Sta mesa... I dont usually bring out the car out of the village hehhe... Ilang beses na rin kasi tinirik nito but its improving already... How did you do the balot with the black stockings?? hindi ba madali mag fade yun stockings cause of the exposure to the environment? :o) I think thats a very good idea, might do that fix for now until I find those corners... Sir post ka naman ng pics pano mo binalot hehehe :o) Thanks!!!

Good day fellow U12 owner's! Atlast Mr. Google answered my search hehe.. Been searching for quite sometime now for a thread like this since I also have encountered a couple of minor problems myself with my BB. I acquired my U12 2 years ago and so far ok naman ang performance nya for me though it's hp is really quite low for a 2L engine. Well my problem is regarding my radiator fans, i'm not sure if its behavior is still in its factory settings. My fan behavior;

*Both fan turns on only when the AC is on
*Both fan switches off/on in unison with my AC during auto off/on

I didnt have any problems with my engine overheating before but just yesterday my temp guage rose up to its peek normal level and not because i got jammed in traffic but during my drive along coastal road going to cavite cruising at 80kph. When i pulled over the gas station at the end of the expressway to check my water level ok naman sya though may konting bawas, wala namang pressure when i removed the radiator cap. btw both the engine and a/c is still running when performed the check up. Tapos gradually nag normalize nanaman yung temp ko and it stayed normal until makauwi ako sa bahay. My theory since wala naman akong problems with my waterpump or radiator baka namatay ang rad fans ko ng matagal during the cruise kya tumaas temp ko or ?

* oldzkul welcome to the club.. same tyo ng problema dati. pina over hall ko lng radiator ko at palit ako ng water pump. sa fan naman same tyo on lng sya pag on ang A/C . pa check mo nalng din sa electrician yun fan baka need ng palitan ng carbon? baka kasi mabagal na yung ikot ng fan.

as in palit fuse? baka you can pin-point which fuse yung pinalitan mo sa loob ng cabin sa may driver side and dun sa engine bay.. para ma-DIY na.=)

ayaw ko na kasi matirikan and yet i want to know yung level kung saan magaalert na yung warning sign.

Aside from checking the fan motor, also check the hoses. overtime those hoses accumulate deposits from the water(i.e. rust, grime, etc.) that restricts the circulation of the water from the motor to the radiator or from the reservoir to the radiator. either way, a good overhaul of the radiator (i.e. cleaning will do) that is if your fans are still working. but based on your story, that is the factory settings still working for your bb.

i have encountered that same problem. first was a hap-hazard conversion of the original radiator mount to copper (the seam welds were horrendous), next was the rust deposits on my return hose from the reservoir to the radiator (sobrang daming deposit i was really considering a by-pass procedure). after, change all the hoses top and bottom. lastly, inspect the wiring of the fans, usually there lies the problem. faulty tapping of wires of the rad fan and aux fan to the main line supply (yung tipong pag nalubak, hihinto yung contact ng fan). then check the thermostat (this one needs a mechanic).
