Titan's Cummins engine has 310 Hp and 752 Nm. Sounds good hehe.

The problem is that the patrol is made at nissan's plant in japan while the titan is made in america, which includes the diesel engine. So it might be impossible for the patrol royale to inherit the turbodiesel cummins hehe. But it will be interesting if they can make this one a reality, especially if it can also make way to its infiniti twin too.

Interesting that the diesel Titan still weighs 590 Kg more than the gas version. Despite the CGI block and aluminum head. Another thing, that Cummins engine would most probably make it more expensive than the LC200. That's probably the biggest hurdle with the Toyota's popularity.

The 2018 Terrano looks pretty sharp:

Still a better front end than the Terra. Hope it looks better in the metal.

It weighs more because the titan xd (the titan with the cummins engine) is essentially heavier than the 1/2 ton trucks (including the gas titan) but not more than the 3/4 ton trucks. So it's a unique class between the two. And this titan is probably more favorable for people who do a lot of towing, which may not be the case when fitted to a patrol but nevertheless, it will be good to see if they can offer it for their suv so that the lc200 will have competition in the large diesel suv market.

So I guess it's safe to say the Terra will not come with EPS. Video didn't say if the steering was softened up at parking speeds though. Only that the ratio was made quicker.

Looks like Nissan is tightening its belt after the Mitsubishi acquisition/bail out. They just recycled the dash and interior bits from the NP300. Even the exterior still looks like the NP300. Other makes have already different interiors and exteriors for their pickups and suvs with the same platform.

Bet the HU will still be the same tiny 5" display with no Android Auto/Apple Car Play.
