Yes, sometimes lowering the seats is better for longer drives. I think the reason is that my buttocks are angled lower than my legs which limits the blood flow to my legs.

Depends on Nissan if they are really planning on upgrading the rear brakes to discs. The new fortuner did come with drums first but was upgraded to discs one year later.

I dont see any diff bruh, walang delay naman si terra while braking from mabilis na takbo like overtaking tapos preno ka kunti to get inside the lane since may kasalubong...

I got my first year insurance free from an Autohub dealership. 2nd and 3rd year are both locked in and are about the same, 40k+. Congrats on your new car. Medyo mahal ang Terra but overall I still think a good deal for what you get.

    Malaki ang difference sa maintenance.

Drums require at most half day at casa just to wind-back the adjuster, clean/inspect the brakes.

Disc don't require such aside from visual inspection of pads, you could even skip the P300 brake cleaners. They are self-cleaning!

    in my non-terra car,
drums require twice as much repair time as discs.
5 minutes per wheel, versus 2 minutes per wheel.
    banawe.
there so very much time lost, waiting, doing nothing to the car, in the casa garages.
    heh heh.

    brake cleaners? nevair.

Kapag stop and go traffic sa Manila, very minor. Sa long drives lalo na sa frequent downhill driving, rear discs will make a difference.

Wonder why most makes refuse to give more. Let's sample Mazda, much smaller than Nissan. They've Yojin3. One pays nothing for the 1st 3years of PMS(7episodes). Full Synthetic oil, & all filters(intake, cabin, fuel, oil) FREE! And speaking of disc brakes, their entire Sky lineup, all fully disc'd. Even the M2DJ(rear drums in EU/Oz/NA/JDMs) have rear discs here. C'mon, Nissan!

Bro, the "free" service is most probably factored into the vehicles' pricing. As they say nothing in life really comes for free.

I bet if Nissan were to adopt the same 3 year free service policy it would necessitate a price increase.

Pricing strategies differ across brands but at the end of the day, they will simply charge the most they can while minimizing cost.

To the guys with buggy Waze and bluetooth, bring your units to the casa for a firmware update. Just had mine this afternoon. Waze is now running without bugs.

True. No one here's probably that gullible to think the really free. It might be some sales trick, some mind-conditioning...BUT, when you pit Mazda's current products vs the competition, the value they give back is glaring....it's much much more. They don't cut corners, nor settle w/ the lower to produce CVT, nor put drums instead of discs, etc. And, they still continue to push the envelope on the combustion engine.... when others have given up & are moving onto electrification.
It's refreshing to see a badge this small still give a damn. Why can't others follow?[emoji4] Apologies for derailing this thread.[emoji120]
