    There are several factors really.

    1. 3rd row seats. Very good foot space and seat can be reclined and the 2nd row seats can be forwarded to give extra leg room for the 3rd row if necessary. I really place a lot of weight on the riding comfort on the 3rd row seat.

Have a closer look at the other mid sized SUV particlarly Everest, MUX and Montero, there is almost almost no foot space on the 3rd row. You will need to insert you feet under the 2rd row seat.

    2. I only test rode a Terra but based on that, I can already say it is more comfortable thant Fortuner (which is my 2nd choice)

    3. Power. 190 HP and 450 nm, it is up there with TB and Everest.

    4. Looks. I like the conventional look

+1 on this. May I know the deciding factor why you went for Terra?

Almost 6' bro, and a bit long legged. But it is not the leg room that I am concerned with, it is the foot space.

The foot space for all other SUVs (except Terra and Fortuner) are just too small even for kids. I have looked into this several times, and next time I will take a photo and post them here.

Check out especially Everest and MUX, almost no place for you to place your feet when in the 3rd row. You will have to insert your shoes underneath the 2nd row seat.

I know that 3rd row space is not the forte of mid sized SUV, but Fortuner and Terra were able to do it.

I'm really impressed sa features bro, but I wasnt comfy sa 3rd row and im 5'7. I had no problem with foot space, but my knees were high. The 3rd row seats are flat instead of being angled. I think this was placed there just to compete in the segment(7seats). I have big thighs coz deadlifts but the seats werent touching my thighs-no support at all.

    excellent 4x4 5+2 seat midsize ppv/suv

I understand about the flat seats although I think by reclining, it might help.

I guess you cannot have it all, so just compromise of some and put some weight those you cannot go without. It is just for me, foot space is quite important for those sitting on the 3rd row as they need that space to be able to move their feet side to side to maintain balance.

Tagal ko nang gusto bumili ng new SUV, my Alterra is 8 years old na. I almost bought the Fortuner but sobrang tagtag lang talaga, too much for the family. So now, I am settling with Terra

While the Philippines market needs to be content with a 2.5-litre diesel-turbo (coded ZD25) for the all-new Nissan Terra, Thais are set to get an upgraded version featuring better efficiency and tractability.

The so-called YS23 has its four-cylinder capacity downsized to 2.3-litre and features a two-stage turbocharger, thermal management system and electrical variable oil pump. It’s also 10kg lighter in weight and 19% more efficient on fuel than the ZD25.

Although the YS23 has the same 190hp and 450Nm outputs of the YD25, they are achieved at slightly different engine operating ranges of 3,750rpm (up from 3,600rpm) and 1,500-2,500rpm (down from a scant 2,000rpm) accordingly.

After making its Thai debut in the pickup-based SUV, the YS23 will eventually appear under the bonnet of the Navara NP300 donor vehicle. Today’s Navara pickup still use the Euro 4-friendly ZD25 and is expected to be updated in less than a year.

The use of the YS23 also allows the Terra and Navara to cope with Euro 5 emission standards which comes into effect in Thailand by the turn of the decade.

Looks like we need to wait for another 4-5 years for this engine to come here.

Disappointed with the 3rd row. Too low that the knees are elevated and too tight that the feet have to slide under the 2nd row seats. 2nd pic is where the 2nd row seat was slid all the way forward.

Yeah. Reminds me of the 7 seater kuno na xtrail where the 3rd row is virtually non-existent.
