April 2nd, 2012 12:18 PM #1Hello! ask ko lang po how much ang motor oil para sa nissan urvan escapade. ano ang maganda klase and ilan liters ang kelangan? bagong driver lang po ako and hindi ko pa masyado alam ang ggwin sa maintenance. need help please.

The 2.7L TD27 needs around 6-6.5L of oil AFAIR.
If you don't know much about the car, please take the time to read the owner's manual, almost all info needed to maintaining your van and it's engine is there, especially at the back pages.

while the owner's manual is standard accessory in the purchase of brand new motor vehicles, it is frequently forgotten by in-experienced and/or overly excited buyers of used vehicles. why, i wager some in-experienced buyers of new vehicles do not even know such accessory exists..

Its an item that is taken for granted or they just have no idea on what it is nor bother to look at it. I basically did away with relying on the shop and CASA for what has to be done during servicing as i usually refer to the owner's manual and go to the shop with the parts I need and instructions on what to do; it does help you save even as you don't rely on the shop for the parts needed.

6 liters with filter change just like the manual indicate.

February 14th, 2013 06:01 PM #8yung owners manual kadalasan bitin yung info...nakalagay yung rating/specs ng langis pero walang nakalagay kung anu yung ginamit na langis at gaanu kadami ang nilagay nila... at ang the best part nun sa owners manual eh "please consult your nearest nissan dealer"

February 25th, 2013 11:38 PM #9mag sirs na may urvan "e24" series din, gaya ng gamit ko. ang urvan namin ay year 2003, sa owner's manual, page 9-2, maliban sa engine oil quantity (5.9 liter daw para sa td 27, kung magpalit din ng oil filter), critical din yung "API rating" . pero ang nakalagay sa manual namin ay "api cc or cd". hindi ko alam, kung nag update na sila ng mga fluid specs , or kung nag revise sila ng owner's manual. internationally kasi, yung "api cc at cd" ay obsolete na. check nyo lang, kung yung urvan escapade nyo na nabili ng mas later , ay na update ito. ang latest api ratings ng oil para sa diesel ay "ch4", ci4" at cj4". pero ang alam ko, yung "ch4" ang recommended na pamalit sa nasa manual natin (kung hindi nag revise ang star motors nung manual). yun ngang unang viscosity rating ng langis, wala naman pakinabang sa atin, dahil usually nakalagay ay "20w40", na tanda ko ibig sabihin, kapag winter (usually zero deg c or lower)tsaka lang nalabnaw sa 20 ang viscosity ng langis. eh sa mga taga maynila, pinakamalamig na yata dito ay 15 deg c lang . kaya lumalabas, hindi naman natin napapakinabangan yung unang viscosity. yun nga lang, ang problema naman, yung mga available na monograde oils natin, ang baba ng "api rating".
kapag ang "api rating" ay nagsimula sa "s", gaya ng "sj" to "sn", ito ay pang gasolina. pero meron din namang mga langis na may "api rating" na pang diesel at pang gasoline engine. kaya bigyan natin ng konting pansin ang "api rating" ng ating binibili na langis.
