max speed of safari

may i know the max speed of a 1995 nissan safari? diesel, stock, no mods, no turbo charger. i tried mine at the NLEX and was able to register 135/km but could not go "faster." is this the max speed? just asking

i doubt kung yun ang max speed since a 2.5 intercooler turbo pajero can go max 140kph, sure ka piga na yung safari mo nun....wat rpm was it at? 140kph at 4ooorpm na gen2 paj ko n la na talaga.

Should be able to hit around 160kph but there are factors like wind, engine condition, road grade, etc...

I thinnk tama sila it can go 160KM/Hr.... I remember nasa NLEX kami ni afrasay hindi ko abutan safari nya naka 120km na takbo ko non.. so yung 140 kayang kaya sa normal

Max speed ko is 170 sa star tollway with a little downward slope. 160 sa Candaba swamp bridge. Normal ng yun 140 though it's gulping fuel like someone that's been in a desert. Di agad siya ng 140-150 when you hit the highway pero after a few minutes kaya na niya. Just give it time to warm up...hehehe

alam ko yang cnasabi ni alfred sa star tollway. On stock setup,I did 180kph with 5 passengers,34psi tire pressure,ang haba kc nung pababa. I think I posted yung pic dati pa. With 33inch tires eto nalang ang topspeed sa same location

i also ran my safari 160kph at STAR tollway. It took a while before i reached that speed.

I've reached 160kph in my Dad's stock Nissan Safari at the NLEX. It felt like it could still go faster. Nagalit lang wifey ko when she saw how fast I was going, kaya 'di ko na napabilis pa...

My Dad's unit was well maintained (he finally sold it last year).

afaik 160 is easy for the safari. my dad (using the gen 2.5 pajero) was chasing his friend's NOS-equipped safari, they were going about 170 sa highway dati...

nangyari na po rin yan sa akin,5th gear, 5T RPM na ako at nasa NLEX rin ako, sagad na ang accelerator pedal sa floor ng safari ko pero 135 Kph parin ang takbo ko... the next day pumunta ako mechanic friend ko, may tinaggal lang xa na plastic sa may accelerator cable ng safari ko, na may 1inch ang length... at mula noon...wooooooosh! mabilis na safari ko at hindi na ito nahhirapan na abutin ang 150-160 kph.... wooooshh talaga.... try u patingin yung safari u sa mechanic na marunong.... thanks

limiter yun bro, JDM rule kasi. ganyan din ginawa ng uncle ko, pinaalis yun kaya umaabot ng 160kph ang takbo. pero nakakatakot kasi mataas ang center of gravity ng Safari.
