July 29th, 2005 09:33 AM #1may i know the max speed of a 1995 nissan safari? diesel, stock, no mods, no turbo charger. i tried mine at the NLEX and was able to register 135/km but could not go "faster." is this the max speed? just asking

i doubt kung yun ang max speed since a 2.5 intercooler turbo pajero can go max 140kph, sure ka piga na yung safari mo nun....wat rpm was it at? 140kph at 4ooorpm na gen2 paj ko n la na talaga.

Should be able to hit around 160kph but there are factors like wind, engine condition, road grade, etc...

July 29th, 2005 06:20 PM #6I thinnk tama sila it can go 160KM/Hr.... I remember nasa NLEX kami ni afrasay hindi ko abutan safari nya naka 120km na takbo ko non.. so yung 140 kayang kaya sa normal

dapat siguro I modify mo na lang. change to bigger tires, lift etc. para you can say that maybe its becuase I have big tires. joke lang.

Max speed ko is 170 sa star tollway with a little downward slope. 160 sa Candaba swamp bridge. Normal ng yun 140 though it's gulping fuel like someone that's been in a desert. Di agad siya ng 140-150 when you hit the highway pero after a few minutes kaya na niya. Just give it time to warm up...hehehe
