The best you can do with a GA16DE (without going turbo) is around +10 to +15HP but the fuel consumption dramatically increases. You would probably get 4 to 5 km/L with the mods. With all the cost of even just the I/H/E and A/F controller, the 10 to 15 HP gain is not worth it.

Sentra B13 or B14 with GA16DE 1.6L engines are good enough to reach 180kph (speed limiter at 180kph) with a stock engine configuration.

Try getting a tranny of a GA13ds, swap the first and second gear with your present tranny. Just make sure the syncronizer are still ok.

Dont just get any I/H/E. Study first which brands are best suited for the GA16. another would be getting a product which are dyno tested.

For the internals, the normal works to increase its power.

Now, the most important question is how much are you willing to spend?

thanks for the Idea, anyway how much power gain for I/H/E, Im planning to replace stock intake, customize, dual intake duct, yung isa sa harap nka diin sa my headlight yung isa i daan ko sa butas samy fender, yung headers cgro pagawa ako nang 4-1 and yung exhaust straight pipe,Headers---pipe----muffler.. anong pipe kaya na mas magan 1.75" or 2.00"?

Hmmm, 4-1 headers? Are you into drag racing? I hope youre into the legal races.

In terms of the diameter of the pipings, we might have a little problem there. As we all know most of the pipes use here are china made which is undersized. The 2 inch piping is measured at the outside diameter and not on the inside, if you will measure the inside diameter you will be getting a figure of 1.75 to 1.85 inches. Dapat kasi kung sinabing 2 inches it should measured on the inside diameter.

Air intake, it depends on your demand kasi. Let us know for what use yun plan mo sa sentra mo. In my case kasi i used to participate with autocross(2 organizers), slalom and later circuit events all at the same. I have different set up per event i join. My CAI set up is for circuit and long course autocross while my WAI apexi set up was primarily for slalom and short course autocross.

So it really dependa sa usage mo so kindly let us know your plans

True... WAI generally gives better throttle response and down-low. You need to be moving already to feel the benefits of most CAIs.

RE: GA13 tranny... same ba sa 1.4/1.5? I've heard even the 1.5s have shorter gearing. I used to own an FE, and the gearing really made up for the lack of power, at least below 60 km/h.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

its for daily use.. I want it to be responsive pero hindi ganun ka grabi mg consume nang gasolina yung 2" inside measurement is ok for stock ga16de?
im planning to have it straight pipe for now its stock headers--stock pipe w/o primary or resonator tapos sa dulki free flow muffler everytime i de-accelerate.. I feel the response increase when I step the gas tbut the problem is kapag ng de-accelerate ako
ng e engine brake sya. parang sa vacum ata.. cgro stock headers--straight pipe--- free flow.. will this help minimize engine brake feeling kapag mg deaccelerate ako?

I think the tranny for 1300 is the same with the 1400 but for the 1500 its the same with the 1600 displacement for the GA series engine.

If its for daily driven then i suggest a 4-2-1 headers if you plan to change your stock exhaust manifold.

Engine braking everytime you depress your right foot from the accelerator is a good sign your engine is still in shape. This is normal for a torquey engine.

Since you plan to set it up for daily drive, what i can suggest is keep it stock as much at possible. Dont touch the internals of your engine.
Change your high tension wire, OE HTW would be a wise choice. Remeber that HTW has lifespan.... 5 years at the most.
Change your plugs with an iridium
Try using a lower viscosity motor oil with seal conditioner to protect the yourself from unwanted oil leaks. Lower viscosity oil would mean less effort for your engine and that would translate to fuel savings.
Try looking for a drop in filter instead and not the WAI filter ones. With our present hot summer you cant go wrong with an OE set up with a after market drop in filter.
Have your electrical and electronics check using diagnostic machine.
Look for a lower temp opening thermostat, a lower operating temp would mean more efficient engine.
Changing your exhuast pipe would change the powerband of your engine depending how big the diameter of the pipe. For daily driven, a 1.75 and match it up with a free flow muffler would be the best combo. Your stock pipe size will do, just replace your stock muffler.
