pwede yan fuel pump or relay.. before cranking the engine, fuel pump will run for a few seconds to fill up the fuel rail then will turn off. after engine start, fuel pump will run continuously until you turn off engine.
possible na pag start hindi na ulit umaandar yung fuel pump until engine dies down.
one sign yun na pag choke nya ng TB eh nag start kasi choking the TB creates vacuum pulling fuel to the rail

malaki magagastos mo nyan sir kng puro ka hula. you have a lot to consider such as overheating of IACV valve and MAF sensors, clog/dirty Fuel injectors, and the likes. If you are going to replace all those parts without knowing that it has in good condition, you will end up wasting a lot of money.
i had problematic problem before.. as i did not have the time to trouble shoot it, i just brought it to the nissan casa. they replaced the distributor assembly. voila! 16K down the drain, but the car did run fine afterward.
To eliminate the cloud of doubt that the fuel pump cuts out or lose fuel pressure, why don't you experiment by hard wiring the fuel pump bypassing the controls and relay.
Ano na kaya nangyari sa problem na ito, My wifey car is experiencing this problem right now. Baka pwedeng paki-share naman kung anong nakitang problem at ginawang solution ng makapagbigay idea sa mekanikong nagawa, hirap na rin hanapin ang problem eh.
i was able to buy a low-idling (500 rpm) series iii super saloon automatic which used to die, but i was able to fix the problem by simply setting the base idle. with engine at operating temperature, turn it off and then disconnect the throttle position sensor (brown plug). then, start the engine and adjust the idle speed with a flat-head screwdriver. reconnect the tps.
the b14 is a joy to drive, and it is surprisingly fuel efficient. the 1.6 is very quick, yet it consumes fuel like a 1.3.
