I have one of these lying around:

It's a Chicago Electric 9,000lb electric winch. It's no Warn or Ramsey but I'm not running the Rain Forest Challenge anytime soon so I guess it'll work.

I'm looking to have it installed Mid-East style like this:

No, I don't want to go with an ARB or TJM bullbar so that's out of the equation. I just want the Mid-East OEM look (I might have a vinyl winch cover sewn by the local uphostery shop). The control box wires might have to be extended a bit since I'm thinking of installing the box underhood or behind the grille to protect it from the environment.

Can you guys recommend a shop that can do the install? Preferably in Q.C. or Metro Manila.

I'm thinking of having it installed by Freeman's shop, Armark 4x4 in San Juan. Does anyone have his contact number and address (I lost his business card).

Other shop recommendations are most welcome. Just post here or PM me.

    Thanks guys.

    Sir Otep,
I think mang mario's shop can do that also. Its like making brackets for compressors. You will need a thick matching plate to pair existing holes on the chasis and the winch unit. Better yet if you want to drill the winch unit to match existing holes of the chasis you can do away with the plate.

I forgot to mention that I have the winch bed/mounting plate also. The plate alone is 24lbs already. The winch itself including the control box and cables is around 80lbs.

    Kuya Otep,

What happened to the bumber? Quick... repair it now! Quick! So that the Patrol will really look like it's being driven or owned by a doctor.

I just happen to pass by the white Patrol on my way out of the Trinoma parking building. From the side, it looks like the bumper was pushed back due to a collision.
