Help with Nissan S3...

Mga sir, good day sa inyo. Pinamana sakin ng future bro in law ko yung S3 a/t nya. For 1 year na-stock to sa bahay nila kasi bumili sila ng bagong auto. So yesterday tinest drive ko xa and ito ang findings:

1. Minsan hindi na-redondo... click lang. Changed batteries pero every now and then di nag-start. Im thinking sira alternator?
2. Delayed ang transmission. Pag nasa "D" or "R" ang kambyo hindi gumagapang, kelangan i-gas and pag change gear biglaan and mejo nagjer-jerk. Pinacheck ko sabi kelangan daw overhaul na... and nagulat ako sa presyo! kelangan na ba tlaga overhaul?

First time ko mag nissan and automatic kaya mejo inosente pa. hehehe your advice will be much appreciated.

1. Maybe starter or loose battery connector
2. Try to change ATF muna.. pag hindi nakuha replace with Surplus A/T Transmission na lang...

replace all fluids (engine, transmission, breaks, radiator)
tune up
change air and fuel filter

Starter problem- had this experienced before with my sentra. Try dismantling the stwrter motor and clean the internals. Chances are the carvon is not directly contacting with the armature due to dirt built up.

Transmissiom problem- yep, its better to rePlace the tranny rather repairing it at a high cost. Try logging in at club nissan sentra and perhaps theres a matic tranny on the for sale thread
