help with my exalta fuel guge

guys help naman with my 01 exalta fuel guage. pgtnataas nila yung fuel float at imanual okay naman, pero pgbinalik na nila yung float sa gas tank ayaw na gumana. please advised.

gud day mga bosing. i have he same problem as yours. di masyadong gumagana yung gauge ng fuel ko. pag nagpakarga ako ng gas, kailangan ko pang tuktukin yung gauge para lang umakyat. di po kaya yung mismong gauge ang prob natin? kung yung floater ay potentiometer lang naman yun. unlike sa gauge may mga electronic parts sya. any comment din po?

i think:
for the first two, i think the problem is the float itself. either replace it, or fix it. either way, you will have to remove the float mechanism from the gas tank.
for the third, i think the problem is the gauge. i don't know where you can buy just that little thingee..

Sir tanong ko lang, napansin kasi namen sa Nissan fuel gauge ng kotse namen Nissan Exalta 2001, kapag pinatay na yung makina yung fuel gauge hindi bumababa sa zero. Dun lang tumitigil sa kung saan yung current fuel level nya. Sa ibang sasakyan na nagamit ko once na pinatay yung makina automatic na bumababa yung fuel gause sa zero pero dito sa Nissan Exalta 2001 hindi. Please advise kung ano kaya ang problema. Thanks

there's no problem. that's normal... for the nissan.
i actually prefer it, because i can see how much gas i have left, even without the key.

Isa pa palang concern sir, nung nagpa full tank kame sabi nung gasoline boy full na daw pero di naman umabot sa full level yung indication. Mejo mababa lang ng konti sa full indication ng gauge.

just learn to live with it, sir. the solution is not cheap.
and by now, you should have noticed that that needle does not go up as fast as you would want.. it takes time for it to go up.
