The mythical Japanese beast that is Godzilla continues on it's supernatural onslaught to date.. Despite a massive 50kg weight handicap (w/c I think is a record high in the Super GT history), Xanavi Nismo GT-R is the 2008 Super GT500 champion!

The "IT" true jdm supercar won the opening race of the 2008 Super GT season at Suzuka scoring a 1-2 finish for Nissan. The dominant performances in the opening race has led to all GT-Rs being applied a 50kg weight penalty in addition to the race weight penalty under the Special Adjustment of Performance under the Super GT regulations. In race two, the GT-R repeated their 1-2 result in Suzuka despite the race winning car of team Nismo carrying a 100kg weight penalty making it only the 3rd team in JGTC/Super GT history to do so. The last time this feat was achieved was 10 years ago by ummm.. guess who.. by it's older brother Nismo Skyline GT-R racing under the same number 23.

The GT-Rs dominance in this season goes on winning 7 out of all the 9 rounds of this years racing season!!

    The champ!!

    Bye guys!!

Hoooraay to the Japanese fans (wearing red shirt)!!!

as expected to that beast but not to the extent na mananalo uli siya, ang naexpect ko was a beastly performance lang hehehe

astig.. kaso yung headlights hindi na yung sa GT-R mismo na stock, iba na siya eh pati wider bodykit pa. yung front niya para sakin parang mali mali pagkaka mold ahahaha

Haha.. well bro in these kind of circuit race it's not the look of the car that's important it's what it brings to the track! Other cars in GT500 are also like you said were not "molded" right. hehe.

Anyways, congrats to team Nissan/Nismo, so far I think there the most dominant team in GT500 history w/ the no. of championships they had since the ass kicking R32 days. Well, thanks to the GT-R bloodline.
Kaya si Autoplus did not waste time on acquiring one eh. Saw them on MOA.
