Goodbye Nissan Serena? Hello Teana?

According sa isang thread ng motioncars, Nissan Phil will stop selling the Serena QRV here. Also, they will be bringing the Teana here soon, pero according dun sa thread ng motioncars, next month daw (which I doubt). :confused:

Isn't Nissan Teana supposed to be a Sedan? Its supposed to be a rebadged Maxima, isn't it?

Yup, I just included the Teana's entry here, but I don't know when it will arrive. I am saddened by the pull-out of the Serena QR-V. Teana is the replacement of the Cefiro (yung present body). I just don't know when dadating yun dito pero I am happy na dadating na yun sa shores natin. I just wonder if we should really be happy na the Nissan here is being managed by Taiwanese. IMO, thier models are really old: Verita and Cefiro.

No, the maxima is not a rebadged teana. the maxima is a US-only car which is bigger,wider and taller than the teana (sold everywhere else in the world...but as a "maxima" is australia). in fact the US nissan altima is also bigger than the teana.

so the question was about the australian maxima then (which is a rebadged teana/cefiro)?okay then........nissan is so confusing, selling the teana also as a cefiro also as a maxima in australia only which is different from the bigger and sportier US maxima.

langya kasing Nissan yan iniiba pa name ng model e pareho din naman. saka buti sana kung may valid reason, gaya ng pajero (pajero ="one who plays with himself" ang meaning nyan sa mga latinos) e wala naman reason, other than to probably confuse the buyer into thinking that he is getting a higher model for the same money.
