the DNE refered to the style of intake throttle you have on the engine, might it be a GA16 or GA14.

"DNE" style is the downdraft style throttle body as compared to the sidedraft style on the "DE" engines.

As for info on the GA14DNE on the web, I guess since its considered an economy engine, not much interest was put into it to modify it for better power.

Does it have an external MAF sensor?

Meaning to say, does it have the air-filter at the end of a long plastic tube, in a box, with a sensor attached to the box?

If so, it's a GA4DE. If it doesn't have an externally mounted MAF sensor, and it's not carbureted, and the block is stamped GA14... you probably have the rarest engine in the universe... an honest to goodness one-of-a-kind GA14DNE... :hysterical: ...maybe some backyard einstein frankensteined the thing...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

why don't you post a pic of your engine bay.

what's the year/trim of your sentra? the ga14de and ga16dne looks the same

unless like what niky said, might be a one of a kind frankensteined engine...
