i normaly used whats avail in gas station when wala me oem on hand.but its best to use oem in my opinion

Go for OEM fuel filter or if you can find the Baldwin or Fleetguard equivalent. The TD27 has a primary and secondary fuel filter and this is changed every 20,000kms. I'd surmise you can extend this if you're using a Baldwin or Fleetguard piece.

Not sure. Best to get the original or VIC part number then you can cross reference it at the website of both filter manufacturers.

I used VIC fuel filter (FC 234) and it seems to holding well.
