    is it ok?

sa panahon kasi ngayon biglang uulan, di mo alam kung gaano kalakas..

as i know--in auto mode--during start-up/sudden acceleration/ when there is a wheel spin tsaka lang mag-aactivate ang rear wheels...pero most of the time fwd-mode siya...

sagad ko na tanong---how about in "LOCK" mode?

i think LOCK is 4wd Low Range, locked. torque split between the front and rear would probably be 60-40 or 50-50, medyo makupad tumakbo ito.

AUTO possibly works like the CRV's. you'll be fine. dunno kung merong center diff ang x-trail (crv wala eh).

Leaving it in auto mode is fine as this will just activate when needed.

Don't use the lock mode unless you're in a real sticky (or slippery) situation.

LOCK just activates the AWD irregardless of surface condtions. Wala siya low range gearing.

Yup, leaving it in AUTO is just fine.

now i drive on AUTO..napansin ko mas maganda siya i-corner at traffic light launching...(di ko dina-drag race ha--wala ako pampaayos ng AT)--pansin ko kasi lesser wheel spin and more traction, lalo na kung basa ang kalye..

    papakiramdaman ko pa...

as for FC--parang di nagbago....pero minsan napapabaon ako ng onti sa accelerator pedal..

city/highway driving on "AUTO" mode (xtrail 250x/200x)
