March 14th, 2012 08:14 AM #1We bought nissan xtrail cvt 4x2 in NISSAN SHAW.when our apllication from the bank approved the agent immediately call us and asking us to give reservation for the unit cost 5thou.my wife went their together with my sister to pay for it.may nakita sila sa labas ng nissan shaw na same color with what we want and tinandaan ng sister ko yun conduction sticker.tinuro pa nga nun supervisor na sir ganon kulay po ha yun gusto nyo.
feb29,2012 pay reservation march 1 nagcall agent na ready na yun unit and asking na pumunta sa shaw to pay for the downpayment.and offer another bank kasi na approve din kame sa isa.so march2 we went their in the afternoon pauwe kame batangas kaya medyo nagmamadali ako.in short nakuha namen sasakyan nde ko nacheck everything ng maayos at nakauwe kame batangas.nun dumating kame batngas nun gabi saka lng nakita ang sasakyan namen nakuha lots of scratches sa lahat ng bukasan ng pinto,different color of the wheels,stains in all rubber of the mirror,faded paint ngsuv sa mga dulo and yun mga dume sa salamin sa mga dulo even nun carwash nde natanggal.
the next day march 3 morning tinawagan ko agad ahente to report it at sabi nya no prob under warranty pa naman.nde namen pwede ibalik nun sat dahil nasa batangas kame.sabi ko sa ahente isched kame ng monday march5.nun march 5 tawag ahente wla daw mga manager and sa tues nalang kame punta sa nissan shaw march6.kasi nakita narin ng sister ko at yun unit na nasa labas during nagbayad sila ng reservation. binalik namen sasakyan at ang hiling namen replacement kasi we think na display unit yun at minadali lahat proseso or pull out the doen payment and pinahold ko yun sa insurance at sa bank.kasi nakapagbigay nako ng post dated checks.
iniinsist nila na hindi display unit yun at all they can do is ayusin lahat ng complains namen.kasi di daw sila nagrereplace.nde kame pumayag pero ginawa prin nila yun unit at pinaganda.marami meeting nangyari to convince us na ok na yun unit.and nag aapologize sila sa mabilisan pagrelease at nakapagrelease ng unit na ganon itsura.and they even offer us to have PMS worth 20thou daw.
kasi nasa isip ko pagkumuha ka sa casa maayos at brand new talaga makuha mo.kaya nde ko na mashado check.kahit yun ahente wlang mga explanations pati yun supervisor during the releasing dahil nagmamadali din .kumunsulta ko abogado at ahente kapatid ko sa toyota yun procedure nila releasing.gminadali skin lhat ang proseso sa excitement dahil first time bili brand new.narealize ko lahat ng pagkakamali ko at ng mga taga nissan shaw.
hanggang ngaun apologize sila sa pangyayari atshempre pinipilit nila kunin na namen unit dahil maayos nraw.pero nakipag meeting narin kahapon branch manager nila sakin at sabi twice na nareject yun application nya ng replacement nya ng unit ng head nila.and offer me freebies PMS worth 20thou from 1000 to 5000 kms and gps with back up camera.pero meron n yun unit namen nun....
we refuse the offer andsabi ko branch manager pano po kung pull out the down payment talaga.sabi branch manager di ko alam dahil di pa nangyayari yun at pano daw yun unit....
sensha na sobrang haba gusto ko lang din mashare bad experiences ko sa nissan shaw sobrang panget service nila.sbi pa nga manager diko alam pano nakalagpas ng 3 stations bago marelease ang unit....at sabi pa pla kahit daw ireplace unit ganon din daw itsura maraming scratches at stains pagkinuha sa planta kasi maraming test ginagawa bukas sara pinto daw.at marami dinadaan bago marelease kaya maganda pagnakuha.

The best you can probably do is to have it repaired / fixed and get some freebies.
Btw, yung PMS hindi yata umaabot ng PHP 20k unless 2-3 PMS yan.

AFAIK kilala ang nissan casa dito sa pinas na pinapalitan ung pintuan sa likod ng van na hindi mo nalalaman, eh napansin ng matinik na customer nag paayos lang ng ibang sira pati pintuan sa likod pinalitan ng bulok ayun nag reklamo sa bitag hulog tuloy sa bitag!

So in effect, nilalahat that all Nissan CASAs are like that? Di naman siguro pards? ;) I've owned or maintained several Nissans in the last twenty years and we never had an out of the blue, real bad Nissan CASA experience and we only stopped buying their cars when they stopped bringing in up-to-date, Japan market models. Warranty claims were also properly addressed by both the factories (NMPI and UMC) and the CASA (in my case, Nissan Q. Ave, Nissan Commonwealth and UMC in P. TAmo).
* the TS, if you have a formal complaint letter that would enlist all the problems of your unit, and all the documents involved with regard to your request and complaints with Nissan Shaw, try also and go directly to Nissan Motor Philippines to file a complaint. Major warranty claims are supposed to be forwarded and approved by the Nissan plant AFAIK so you can call them to verify if indeed Nissan Shaw has taken your case to them or if they're just giving you the go-around. You can also try and file a case with DTI if all else fails.

Same owner ba Nissan Shaw and GM/Chevy Shaw dati? Alam ko may mga problems din posted on that CASA before.

Once you take the car home, malabo na mapalitan iyan. Some defects are so small lang that even the usual quality assurance guy wont notice. Or even the rest of the motoring public wont. Lesson learned, huwag magmadali. Kahit ako nalulusutan ng mga small blemishes at defects. Just let them correct said problems at their expense. Plus more incentives.
I wont stereotype pero some of the folks i know that are always locking horns with the casa on various warranty claims dont even take care of the car after a few years. Mas maayos pa yung luma kong toyota.
The offending nissan dealer has since been closed and is now a toyota dealer.

Malabo na ngang mapalitan yan, hinde naman kasi lemon eh. Actually maski lemon mahirap palitan.
Best you can do, pagawa mo sakanila lahat ng defects at manghingi pa ng kung anu anong freebies.
Lesson: Huwag masyado ma-excite pag ipipick up na yung kotse. Check nyo muna lahat, kung gusto nyo magdala ng flashlight gawin nyo. Kasi kayo rin magsisi sa huli. :-)

March 14th, 2012 03:13 PM #8salamat sa mga reply nyo guys...pero until now disappointed prin ako,kasi nagbigay ako ng request letter sa office nila na kung pwede i hold muna yun mga postdated checks dahil under nego pa ang lahat.pero tinawagan ko ang bank wala sila kaalam alam pati insurance...kaya what kind of customer service do nissan shaw has sobrang bagsag.
