sounds like a blocked expansion valve and dirty evaporator.

when you have it fixed, get the orig nissan expansion valve. tubo yun na parang cross. evaporator palinis lang, tas get a new dryer (parang baso na gawa sa aluminum, nasa makina yun) na nissan din.

palagyan ulit ng freon, yung class A para mabango. r-134 yan.

palagyan ng capillary oil yung compressor. dapat sop na to.

lalamig ulit yan. while you're there, pabaklas mo na yung coin sa loob ng vent hehe. baka mamya nakapatong pa yun sa sensor ng climate control system.

thanks sir for the reply.. so far wala pa naman major problems, for now.. except lang for the aircon.. although a few months ago, nagka problema sa transmission.. pinalitan lang yung plastic sa may steering, anyway, me kilala kasi ako sa nissan libis so orig parts, siya na rin nagpalit..

you mentioned about the disc rotor? i noticed the last time i drove this, medyo navivibrate na siya.. please give more info, like how much, where can i have this fixed.. other than casa.. kasi medyo matagal sila dun aside from mahal pag umuuwi kasi ako mga 3 days lang.. i'm based abroad..

overall, ok naman siya.. medyo di lang na-maintain kasi my wife is the one using this...and.. well, driving lang alam niya hahaha..

the color is silver.. i bought this for 525k

Regarding the transmission, wala akong naging problema... Yung aircon, pa check mo compressor, ako pinacheck ko kung tama yung pressure kasi naging ganyan din ang problema.. specially kapag naka park kang matagal at nakaaircon..

Ang iingatan mo alternator, I had to replace it twice during my 5 years of ownership. Disc Rotor is a bit sensitive.. kapag may naramdam kang vibration pa reface mo na.. second, malakas din yan sa brake pad.

regarding sa payat ang kaha, for me that's an advantage because the nissan serena (2nd gen) was designed for narrow roads kaya ganyan yan.

riding comfort is really good.. kahit yung bagong mpv ko cannot match the riding comfort of the serena.. gas consumption is 6 km/l for me.. I think ok na yun for a 2.0 van

I forgot, yung mga stabilizer link yan mahina.. IMHO, pa gawa mo na lang sa cruven or zee tatagal yan kaysa bumili ka ng bagong stabilizer link.. sa akin 1 year lang tumagal yung original links..

how much did you pay for the van?
    ano color?

thanks sir.. can you recommend a shop? and do you have any idea how much this will cost me? i will be back in manila for a vacation this holy week, i just hope that there are shops open by then.. actually, makulit talaga baby ko, ginagawang laruan yung mga controls, and naging ugali na rin niya magpasok ng coins sa aircon vent the last time nangyari sa crv ko, pinabaklas ko just to remove it, we removed a couple coins, toys, maliit na baril swords, etc.

hehe. oks lang yan. when i was a kid my dad's 1976 galant aircon blower was a source of endless fascination for me too. although i used to stick in crayons, not coins, hehe.

expect to pay around 6-7 thousand. libo din kasi yung orig na pyesa. the expansion valve is very impt, pag generic nilagay ng tech it may not be as cold as the original (trust me i know this. our sentra was very picky with expansion valves... pag yung cheap lang parang taxing laspag yung a/c performance). maybe it has something to do with nissans "special" a/c systems.

if you want headache free a/c repair, dalin mo sa casa, kaso expect to pay 5 digits jan. or you can take it to mang mario (address is in a thread here somewhere), or any big a/c repair shop. the bigger, the less price kalokohan. they have more to lose kasi pag niloko k ng big shops, lalo na yung mga may franchise. pero no matter how big the shop, you still won't pay 5 digits. maybe high 4 digits, hehe.

if you are south of metro manila, try ceejay's at Las Pinas for your aircon
    problems.
I have 03 serena, manual tranny. so far so good. My son is driving it as I am
also based abroad. Be sure to clean the air filter of the aircon blower which is located and accesible when you remove the glove compartment.

kailan mo nabili yan? buy and sell?
