    air filters are replaced depending on the distance travelled or if it is really dirty.

    mura lang naman ang paper filters eh

    not only is it ok... it is required!
    but many of us do not replace it according to the schedule.. i have mine cleaned using compressed air.. when it gets to be un-cleanable or stained with grease or oil, than i replace it.
    using a non-nissan brand replacement is always a gamble.. some independent brands are ok, others are not so ok. and there are fakes all around us..
    what manifestation might you see that suggests your replacement filter is not ok? marked drop in fuel efficiency, for one..

air filter replacement
