If you look at it... Nissan was one of the first manufacturers to pioneer power windows and power steering (box type sentra), turbo diesel SUV (1988/1989 Patrol), EFI (U12 Bluebird), 6 cylinders (A31 Cefiro), ABS (B13 Sentra)... moonroof (B14 Exalta). Problema lang, after that... :P

There's also the Nissan Laurel and 180GT... (Datsun pa ata yung trade name).

'75 Datsun 180B ata iyan Vinj. Among the local sports coupes (vs. Celeste and Liftback), it was the only one with independent rear suspension at the time.

That was my dad's car in medschool. Naka-freeflow intake, ignition upgrade, exhaust, wide tires, power windows, etc. He kept it until 1990.

Nissan was also one of the first companies to make a high mount stoplamp and rear seatbelts standard equipment on a compact sedan (Sentra).

A 1993 Pulsar? Wow. By that time almost all Pulsars have disappeared from the US. That said, I had a 1986 Pulsar NX. Tough little car. Check out my sig. It's the red car in the background....

i remember owning my first maxima (the four door sportscar) in the late '80s. i liked it so much that i bought 3 more maximas after that. ayaw ko lang yung nagsasalitang ale (your door is ajar) and the automatic seatbelts.
