from stock 215/65r16, plan ko replace to 235/60r16.. same size sa stock tire ng old tucson...
if there wll be issues saan lang ba? i had computed the total diameter, and it is 0.10in taller but 20mm wider than stock (sorry for the difference in units...tinatamad ako mag convert from inch->mm/mm->inch) tires.
kung lalabas man sa wheel well, di naman ba masyado? how about handling and steering performance? weight--how heavy against stock? FC and rolling diameter naman siguro di masyado difference, since 0.10 inch bigger ang 235/60r16

March 29th, 2011 11:40 AM #2i also considered that size for my xtrail since i find the original tires small. but i chose to install 225/70/16. taller and wider than the originals. i was trying to look for 235/65/16 which IMHO is the perfect size for the xtrail.
235/60/16 is also a near perfect fit for the xtrail. you will notice an improvement in handling (since this is wider) and performance since this is lower profile.

April 15th, 2011 03:38 PM #3*alwayz_yummy.

fro 2.5L , matipid sa long drives than everyday city use... t31 only comes in 2.5 2wd or awd.... both in cvt... siguro 1-2km/l more efficient than what i drive...
remember, may konting kabigatan ang newer xtrail...

di ba magkakaroon ng rubbing issues? ung 235/60r16 as i know stock size ng tucson,e...
mukhang maliit (diameter wise) nga masyado ang 215's... madalas kasi mag-wheel spin ang front tires on 2wd mode and napabaon ng tapak sa gas on start-up...(mukha tuloy ang angas ko...)

April 25th, 2011 09:54 AM #6no rubbing issues with 235/60/16. i've seen a lot of xty's fitted with 235/60/16 since this is readily available (OEM size for rav4 and tucsons). i even saw an xtrail fitted with 245/70/16. masyado ng malaki. i think we can even go as much as 235/70/16.

mas mahirap kasi maghanap ng 215/65r16 than 235/60r16....lalo na sa province...
di naman labas sa fenders ung 235?
Since yung spare tire nasa labas ng sasakyan. Ano tawag dun sa lock na nilalagay sa spare tire para...
