No power rear tailgate for the Philippine version while the world version has one.

disappointing.. ( madami nabawas.. sa features yet price is high )
The 4x4 Xtrail has power rear tailgate which I was quite surprised. Saw the unit at PIMS, but can't say about the 4x2 unit since there's no display unit yet. Are those Forester features for the XT or non XT variant?

The Forester NA Premium which sells at around 1.5M also has a power tailgate. The base NA model which sells for 1.3M does not have one.

IMO, pwede naman 2 adults sa 3rd row, pero adults na walang legs. pang children below 4 yrs old yug leg room ng 3rd row seats. sayang at eto pa naman sana ang pang come-on ng xtrail vs competition. as to the pricing, mahihirapan tapatan real 7 seater diesel SUVs in the market. i spent 10 mins max checking the unit at PIMS.

You'd expect a car at this price tag to come with foglamps as standard, pero sa 4x4 lang meron

Mahal sya... but the 4x4 looks good, interior space is wisely designed, very good ride smooth just like the previous generation.. but performance wise and speed.. maiiwan ito sa highway ng FORESTER XT

Hello. We are planning to buy the all new xtrail. I did some research and found out that the 2.5l is the current qr25de engine. The 2.0 is the new mr20dd engine? Is this correct?

I may have to wait for next year's refresh. The 4x2 is good except for the head unit. Touch screens should be standard right now.

The 4x4 on the other hand is underspecced. No power seats, no leather seats (you can add P19k for leather seats with 2 weeks lead time), small 5 inch screen head unit, no power lift gate. I wanted to know if you can change the head unit because it looks hard to replace because of the integrated frame. I think you need to replace the head unit with the frame. I feel the 4x2 is more worth it than the 4x4 as of now.

The qr25de is the same engine but with slight improvement from the previous Xtrail. The MR20dd is new here in the Philippines.

Thanks for confirming. Hows the qr25de in terms of fuel consumption? We had the 1st gen xtrail 2.0 and ang lakas sa gas.
Whats your opinion on the mr engine?

fuel consumption ok lang for a big engine, di ko iniisip malakas sya sa gas, mahal lang talaga ang gas :D pero kung purely city medyo mabigat sa bulsa kasi matrapik, if mix NLEX saka city tolerable na

The 4x4 is cloth seats by default but you can add P19k for leather. The next refresh may have default leather seats as usual. The only info I need is if you can upgrade the head unit and speakers of the 4x2 model.

Great! Post some feedbacks. Other dealers also got their demo unit. Saw one parked at our neighbor a while ago.
