Reason why I'm holding out muna for the Mitsu outlander release. If what's on the floor will be the PHDM release, then I might really put it on my shortlist... V6 Mivec should be one hella of a drive.... but the 2.4 MIvec variant might really be enough.

BTW, I went to their Nissan ALabang for s proper test drive, but the Guard and The SA's where all dicks.... I mean no costumer service, I got fed up and decided to bail on them, My wife gave the ultimatum of not buying the Xtrail based on that experience.
Now I think I know why Nissan is down at the bottom feeders, I mean, they arent moving vehicles left and right, the best next thing they can do is treat buyers like they were royalty, It isnt really hard... I guess they just dont know any better

yah, their TOTL xtrail has lot of features removed comparing to other countries.. but still, you cant discount the remaining features the car have.. still a good car.. but, would have blown away any competition if all features was there.. sayang.. still worth it for me though, especially when you factor in the price..

as for the dealer, natapat ka lang sa walang kwenta.. i only know 2 dealers of nissan na talagang maalaga since we've almost checked all nissan dealerships before.. and those 2 dealers really are very professional and accommodating.. i dont know if i can name them, but you can pm me if you want to know.. i can refer you to them as well.. feeling kasi nung ibang dealers may hotcake silang car kaya kung umasta kala mo sila ang hahabulin e, parang isuzu ngayon.. if you think the nissan alabang you went to are total dicks, you havent tried isuzu.. they are the worst right now..

That's the one I saw near Rublou in Ortigas. Yup, blacked roof, door handles and smoked taillights. Nice look.

Any 4x4 owners here? Care to share your FC? Ours is at 9.5L/100Km mixed, mostly highway. Should improve as its only got 1,000 Km on it.

I think I know what people are talking about when they say it rolls in the corners. If there's only two of you on board it does roll a bit. With 4-5 people inside the handling is better.

Maybe the active trace control is reacting to it. Is there a difference when you disable it? But most SUVs does roll on the corners anyways. Either you choose high ground clearance with body roll or no body roll with low ground clearance.

According to one website the fc for the 4x4 is 9L/100km. Getting 9.5L/100 is great already.

Thanks. Was kind of hoping for something around 8.xL/100Km but this good enough for me too. I got that figure with a cold a/c setting, eco mode off, 2 passengers and luggage, maximum speed at 80-100Kph on provincial roads (no expressway).

San ba ok na dealership ng nissan? Went to nissan shaw for test drive and di maganda customer service nila. Parang irritated pa un SA na andun kami. Plus the SA na nakausap namin hindi knowledgeable dun sa product dami syang sagot na "di ko sure.." 😕

Saka ano un effect ning Eco button? Saw it earlier sa 4x2 eh. And may nagfre-freebie pa ba na dealership ngyon ng roof rail?

Not sure if the chassis control can be disabled, is that the same as turning the VDC off? I'll try that next time. Haven't fully read the manual yet. Sobrang kapal, hehe. And most of it is because of the different versions.

It's hard to recommend a dealership or agent right now. We got our unit from NGO because it's closer but I prefer someone from Nissan Westgate. Not sure about the dealership service though. I hope things improve.

Eco button dampens acceleration and displays the gas pedal depression guide on the MID. Makes it run really slow, imho best left to Sunday driving.

Thanks sir Wh1stl3r. If its ok to ask, bkit mahirap magrecommend ng dealership now? Hows the after sales ng Nissan historically?

By that I mean I've no recent experience with after sales or sales agents save for this X-trail. The agent I got it from was ok, but product knowledge could be better. I'll let you know how after sales is when I bring it in for PMS.

I can say we've had good experiences with the plant itself in the past (UMC at the time). They even replaced a turbo even after the warranty has lapsed. The customer service reps are prompt in reminding you of your next probable PMS schedule.

With new leadership under NPI I think things should get better. People from the dealership even told me that Toti himself visits the dealerships himself and talks to the staff to get feedback.

If I remember it right, you can disable Active Trace Control on the Menu screen. There are 2 check boxes on that category. I only played around it for a while in my last test drive but there is an option for it.

    *bibimpab
I have experience with Shaw and so far they have good customer service. But my agent left already so I have to observe them again. But they give good discounts. Nissan P. Tamo branch seems good too, not yet the best but they are very accommodating.
