Penned by Seiji Watanabe, the Nissan Juke was launched in Japan back in June 2010. On its first month alone, it received more than 10,000 bookings - surpassing Nissan's target of just 1,300 units. Watanabe said that the “Juke is unique because when you drive this car, there’s a feeling of excitement. That’s the car’s special point - its particular appeal. Unlike in the past, cars that are fun to drive aren’t being offered any more.” And these are exactly what Universal Motors Corporation (UMC), the official distributor of Nissan commercial vehicles in the Philippines, is hoping to achieve when they bring in the Juke in 2013.
