Good day everyone, i have this 2005 sentra gsx the problem is during traffic and stop and go and when the engine is already hot there's a tok tok sound heard at right front i think. It's very uncomfortable as in may matatangal na piyesa sa ilalim. 3 mechanics have already checked it and okay naman daw pang-ilalim ng car. Steering is also okay. Already tried to have the caliper bolts greased, ganun pa din! Any idea where's the culprit? Very annoying kasi lalo na when your in heavy traffic. Pero 'pag cruising na wala naman tok sound and 'pag dinaan sa lubak wala din. Ano kaya yun? Hay naku, bebenta ko nalang to if not resolved!

Check niyo po maige yung offset ng 17s mags plus yung aspect ratio and width ng tire.

Pag kinabig ng husto kasi yung manibela pag nagmamaneobra eh tumatama yung tire sa fender liner.

17x7 mags on 215/45R17 yata yung gamit ko.

Hindi ko na rin malagyan ng spacer kasi konti nalang yung thread sa nut eh.

nacheck ba paps yung velocity (cv joint) mo? may tok sound ba pag lumiliko ka, accelerate or decelerate?

lumalabas lang ba ang tok tok sound pag mag accelerate ka? (stop and go) if thats the case, pa check nyo po yung engine support ninyo. Happened to my pizza lancer before, ito lang pala yung culprit. good luck po.

hmmm try mo pa check breaks mo like what you said during traffic and stop and go also check your engine mounts CMIIW though.

good morning everyone, cv joints checked - ok. Velocity joint checked - ok. Stabilizer link and bushings checked - ok.... Shock absorber cheked - ok. No tok sound pag lumiliko and sa lubak. It just appear sa traffic pag slow moving or start to move the vehicle and 'pag mainit na. Removed again the caliper bolts and re-grease, may konting damage yung rubber na wrapping sa pin, so far pag gamit ko ngayon, wala yung tok tok. Also sprayed wd 40 sa stabilizer bushing (clamp) and top of shock absorber mounting. So far so good. Will still observe and post developments para makinabang ang mga tsikoteers with the same problem.

Pag uwi ko kahapon, bumalik tok tok sound as if feel ko sa flooring bakal to bakal nagtatamaan. pa check ko stabilizer bushing maybe dun na yun and not the brakes as wala naman tok if i step on the brakes forward and backward. Really wierd and annoying. If hindi pa naresolve to, for sale na siya, 360k 2005, 1.6 gsx, black, original leather seats, mags, no additional accesories and 55k odo reading.

sir san ka po nagpa grease ng caliper bolts? :D I think kelangan ko din yan, sobrang lakas na ng tok sound nung sakin eh, wala pa kasi ko pampalit nung rubberized na caliper bolts..mga how much kaya pa greasing? :D TIA

Good pm, sa Petron lang, if you have a suki mechanic, libre lang yun, abutan mo lang tip mekaniko. pag papalit ka mga rubber repair kit, 150 lang per tire. problema ko ngayon, nakita na tok sound, lower suspension arm bolt, loose thread!!! and wala available sa casa yung bolt. Anybody here who knows where to buy one??? Dapat kasi original part, replacement part do not fit well sa holes kaya ganun pa din may tok tok pa din. Thank you everybody in advance.

Siya nga pala, you don't need to replace the caliper bolt na rubberize. The repair kit includes the rubber of the caliper bolt. yun lang papalitan not the whole bolt. And it cost around 300 - 350 only.
