Parehas lang talaga dahil facelifted lang ito. It is not an all new model.

Malaki naman ang improvement sa torque & hp, from 350Nm/197hp to 420Nm/252hp.

no wonder matakaw din sa diesel fuel yung ZD30DDTi... yung torque niya di nagkakalayo dun sa TB45E...

if they improve the TD42 engine, it will create trememdous amount of torque... so far, the newest lineup of engine nissan created for the patrol lineup is the TD42Ti, but it's torque improvement is merely a 30 Nm increase from it's predecessor TD42T.

If I'm not mistaken, the Patrol is in the same class as the Land Cruiser 100 right? LC100 costs over 1M more though ...

LC100s have air suspension which beats the patrol, but in offroading, the patrol wins hands down.

sobrang laklak sa gas ng 4.8-liter na yan. just read any review of the patrol 4.8 (even the pre-facelifted patrol was available with the TB48DE) and it will mention very poor fuel economy, whether in the city, highway or off-road.

It's a 3 ton SUV, fuel economy was not made to be it strong point. Although, I wonder why they didn't just use the VQ40 engine with 265hp/385Nm.

The last time I drove the patrol.. I did 9 km/L.

OT: well if you drive an 2.0 Escape you're really going to master the art of trying to save fuel. ;)

The gas versions are sold relatively low on the 2nd hand market... sometimes were tempted to get one if there's a good offer and funds permit then convert it to LPG.

hehe matipid na nga yun, yung GQ patrol na TD42 highway driving kulang kulang 9 to 10 km/li, kung sa bagay, torque niya nasa 26 kgf-m, mas underpowered pa

The Patrol has been my dream SUV from day one! I remember when I was still studying and wishing that someday I'd be able to buy one. The new model looks great, small improvements will eventually make it perfect.

hataw na ang 60kph sa city highways..hehe kaya nagtataka ako daming umaangal sa fuel consumption. kahit diesel engines na, lakas pa din daw.

i always add diesel additives every time i fill up my fuel tank, does it help in achieving better fuel economy? hehe feeling ko lang kasi matipid sa consumption eh, is it really the effect of the additive or is it just me?
