kung yung makina na ilalagay ay yung 4.2 na turbo diesel intercooled ng nissan, do you think it can compete na with the land cruiser in terms of performance?

The 80-Series initially came with the old 4.2 litre petrol engine which was replaced c1992 with a 4.5 litre dohc engine. Two diesels were offered: the 4.2 litre sohc 1HZ and the 4.2 litre sohc turbo-charged 1HDT.

malabo, if you mean the LC100. the turbocharged and intercooled 12-valve pushrod TD42 available in the GU elsewhere is rated at just 150 hp and 268 lb-ft of torque. the TD42 is an ancient design, unlike the modern (and more complex and less reliable) ZD30.

on the other hand, the 24-valve 1HD-FTE 6-cylinder in the Land Cruiser 100 is rated at 200 hp and 317 lb-ft. however, it's a more complicated engine with electronic controls.

the 12-valve SOHC 1HD-FT in the Land Cruiser 80 series is rated at 165 hp and 268 lb-ft. however, the GU Patrol hardly competes with the local LC80.

yes. they have the 1HD-FTE inline-6 turbodiesel, coupled to a manual transmission.
