need help: May I ask fellow Grandeur users for suggestions?

Issue: Nagpalit ako ng cylinder head cover dahil nasira ng mekaniko. nung pinalitan nagpalit na din ako ng gasket, piston ring(standard pa din). Problem is pag 70kph up na ang speed umuusok ng puti. Sabi ng mekaniko need na daw magpalit ng engine dahil blowby na daw.

How much ang QG16 engine? and where can I buy one?
What other engines can I put in the car instead of the QG16? (car will be used daily, so it should be economical)

hmmmm. i think kailangan muna mag second opinion.... a compression test perhaps?

SR20 But you'll need a transmission from the US or Japan that fits.

QG13 if you can find it. But you'll also need the computer box that goes with the engine. Best really, is just to get another QG16, or fix what's wrong with yours.

Get a second opinion, do a compression test, then a leakdown test to determine where your problem is. Likely the piston rings weren't set right or are the wrong size.

Pare maghanap ka na ng bagong mekaniko. kung siya mismo naka-sira ng cylinder head cover mo to begin with at nagpalit ka na ng kung ano ano at nagka-white smoke pa after, wag ka na maniwala sa mekaniko mo. chances are, mali yung pagkakagawa kaya nagka white smoke.

changing your engine should be your very last resort. nissan builds pretty tough motors, so feeling ko maayos pa yan if done properly. how many KMs do you have on the motor? was it abused (raced, ginawang taxi, nag-overheat ng madalas tapos tinakbo pa rin)? hit or miss rin if you change your engine to a surplus one.

awts cylinder head cover lang problema napunta sa piston ring, nadale ka ng mekaniko mo sir..option dyan compression test then kung ano result dun ka mag based ng next action mo either overhaul ulet or change engine..pa test ka sa mga mahusay at credible na shop sir..sana maayos yan problema mo
