so sorry to inform you that i won't be able to join you for the fun run. merong biglang commitment na nag pop out on the evening of the 19th. but i'm contemplating of joining still, but then i need to go back immediately upon reaching baguio. what do you think?

good morning alabangers....

ako naman po ang hihingi ng inyong prayers right now... pls. bear with me as I collect my thoughts...

my husband is in the hospital right now... yesterday, at 2 am, nagising akong nakikinig sa snoring niya (which is quite different plus the fact na nag-drool siya)... instant instinct ko gisingin siya pero di ko siya magising tapos ginising ko ang brother (who's here vacationing) para tulungan akong gisingin siya pero after 5 mins. hindi pa rin gummigising... alarmed and scared, we called 911...

after a few mins, police and paramedics are at our place na... first aid and everything... di ko na matandaan kasi I was busy waking up my husband... at that point, naisip kong puwedeng mawala siya (morethan 15 mins na kasi siyang di kumikilos ang parang black out ba) pero since naghihilik siya at breathing isinantabi ko iyong thought na iyan...

eventually nagising pero alam niyo iyong mata niya - blanko tapos he's not responding to us.. he's in a different time zone na... parang bumalik siya sa time na binata pa siya at kasama niya ang ate at kapatid niya... he's cursing and shouting.... imagine, at 2:30 am- sobrang ingay niya at nagwawala... parang napo-possess ang dating sa akin.. I was holding his head kasi I was talking to him pero siya hinahabol ng kagat ang mga kamay ko... natakot talaga ako... everyone is talking to him pero iba ang sagot niya... ni hindi ko nga maintindihan ang sinasabi niya (di tagalog at inglis)... tinatanong nga ng paramedics kung ano ang sinasabi niya- eh kahit kami di namin maintindihan..

after a few grueling minutes na, parang naging conscious na siya sa paligid... nag-respond na sa amin pero he was given ativan para ma-relax na... and benadryl after...

he was rushed to the e.r.... and given a battery of tests (bloodworks, x-ray, scan)... tapos, may nakitang cyst na nag-rupture in his head near the brain... pero hindi pa rin conclusive iyon... sa monday, mag-EEG siya... para matignan ang brainwaves niya... after the MRI and a few scans pa ulit- sabi nila Seizure... pero iyong nga, thru EEG- sana malaman ang root cause...

for the cyst, medyo ni-rule out nila iyon pero sa akin maaaring one of the causes iyong kung bakit nagbago ang behavior ng asawa ko for the time being... but I still have to ask his doctors about that... plus the fact na- nag-rupture- ano ang magiging effect or ano ang dapat gawin kasi baka later may effect (infection) naman iyon... di ko ma-explain kasi di ko alam ang term...

as of now, nakalabas na siya ng ICU(he stayed for the rest of the day)...he's stable and medyo oriented na plus medyo nag-wore off na ang gamot niya... nakakausap na at nag-re-respond na sa bawat inquiries... that evening, he was transferred to the neuro section para ma-observe nila ng maigi siya... baka kasi daw may ibang pang cause na makita pa...

okay na siya pero siyempre kelangan pa niya ng prayers, para totally ma-heal siya... sana tulungan ninyo kami dito...

ang hirap pala non.. akala ko di na siya magigising and I'm not prepared for that... everything was fine that night before going to bed... we had plans of bringing my brother to Boston on that day (day) so inaayus niya ang mapa at kung anu pang kelangan para sa roadtrip... kasama pa sana namin ang iba niyang offficemates na galing din sa Pinas...

I can't erase the fact na hanging by a thread lang siya sa amin yesterday.. my kids were there watching everything... pero nung nagwawala na siya, I instructed them to go down and pray... imagine, my 12 yr. old- leading the prayer and her brother(4yrs. old) responding back...alam na kasi ng son ko mag-say ng Our Lord's prayer, Hail Mary and Glory Be... he sometimes leads us in saying the rosary....

baka some of you might think of what I'm doing here in the internet -why I'm not in the hospital with him... bawal kasi dun mag-stay plus di ako makatulog and I have this numbing feeling... I'm just printing up my thoughts here kasi wala akong masabihan kundi ang ate ko who is back there in Pinas... mga what ifs... my husband who is seemingly healthy tapos biglang ganon...

siguro hanggang dito na lang muna... I might not be able to reply back immediately pero I'll browse from time to time.. to give you updates na rin..
