btw, are minors legally allowed to operate a scooter?

I've almost hit a couple of kids riding scooters in our village...

1. I was turning right near our house (from Yen to Dollar) when a scooter, who is in the wrong lane, almost hits me head on. apparently - they are taking shortcuts on the corners / intersections (by counterflowing).

2. I was turning left (from Peso to Dollar) and in the middle of the intersection already when a scooter suddenly appeared out of nowhere (on my left side) and almost hits me.

3. I was turning left (from Albatross to Kingfisher) and in the middle of the intersection already when a scooter suddenly zoomed from my right and cuts in front of me. gabuhok na lang eh tinamaan ko na.
