sir jasprit - Your '02 wave is awesome looking. Parang napaka- hi-tech tignan ng mga hose mo on the outside. I once took an XLR 200 carb then bolted it on my re-bored honda dream. Had an oversized (100) piston shoved into the block.

Big improvement in boost and top-end even when I was using the stock air filter lang hehehe

boss wala na binenta ko na po 26k lng napaka mura ko na benta. once reahed 100km/hr imagine I was weighing over 90kgs. whew
Yng xlr sarap gamitin p*tsa sinubukan ko mag drag ng mag isa pag apak sa primera todo hataw gas and bitaw cluthc nag wheelie tas hataw kambyo i thing i reached 80km/hr in less than 5sec's sarap. hahaha

I think that's a "replica bike" na limited edition. According to some, bikes like that are meant to be driven hard, track only. Does anyone here watch Dr.House on AXN? On the show, he recently got a repsol replica bike that he uses to and from work. I saw about 4 episodes already showing this bike; really awesome looking!

I sold the GSXR and bought this '02 Yamaha R6

This is what i currently have: Black '06 Yamaha R6.
The ugly turn signals are gone, replaced them with flushed mounted ones.
Got a Titanium ARATA full system exhaust, power commander, frame sliders, double bubble windscreen.

These pictures were taken during one of our weekend rides to Lake Berryessa, this is the final stop prior to about 40 miles of twisties road.
The 2 Harley's in the pics... not with us! Those guys were crazy smoking chonkie and drinking beer during the stop, mga sira ulo... they were making fun of my friend's yellow GSXR sabi ba naman "Where's the Mexican?" eh itim yung kaibigan ko ha ha ha!!!

Pinaka gus2 ko sa R6 very light makes it easier to maneuver sa mga winding roads or zigzags, yun kasi trip ko. Boring saken yung freeway although sarap humataw pero mas me challenge (for me) yung twisties.
About being lucky- well alam mo back when i was in P.I. di ako maka afford kahit 2nd hand na tsikot kaya i try to work hard dito para mabili ko kahit ano gus2 ko... ok tama na naiiyak na ko.
So wala pala dealer ng bikes jan? Lahat imported? Hmmm...

Yung GSXR i only had it for about 2 mos, nabili ko lang from another pinoy for $2500 hindi kasi mag start that time and he was moving out of state, anyways...so i spent abt $500 get it fixed then sold it for $4K. To answer your question, no walang spacer (don't even know what that is)
After ko kasi ma drive R6 ng friend ko 'lam ko na that's what i want, so i looked in craiglist for a used R6 and nakita ko nga yung orange na bike and the rest was history.
Ok yung CBR600R maganda yun...
Yung mga bagong GSXRs ok din, have you seen them?

dmenace - I've seen all the '07 line up na, needless to say, they are all super! As far as I know, all brand new supersport bikes here are import, haven't exactly seen a dealer/showroom that displays these babies who can offer "close to US" prices. It's a luxury item here like sports cars and US suv's.

I agree, twisty roads are the way to go, much more fun that way . So your R6's original color was orange pala? If so then the new coat of black is definitely better, more sinister looking. The R6 is indeed a very agile bike plus I love its revolutionary stock exhaust: short and compact.

Mga boss skng cno man sa inyo merong mga stock parts ng XRM nyo Front fender and headlight Pm nyo ako. Bilihin ko po kakabit ko ksi sa XLR ko masyado malaki yng fender ng skin. Boeing dba syu XRM?? baka pwde ko kunin.:gin: sakto pasko panaman yan na lng gift mo hehehe.

$500 profit is really good! (P25k more or less here). You mentioned na you modified it with a Titanium ARATA full system exhaust; is there a difference in performance compared to the short stock exhaust? How does it look like?

wala akong pics after i instaled the ARATA, wala kasi ako sa US right now (deployed sa desert) dala ko laptop ko pero walang new pics ng bike pero when i get back home sa Feb post ko sya.
