I'm seriously considering buying a quad bike for use around my home in Palawan but I have no idea what models are available here.
For example the common Japanese models are obviously superb quality but it comes at a price.
What alternative choices do I have? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you all.

Thanks for the reply. This would normally be my choice (particuarly the Honda as you can see by my pic) but i'll obviously have to see what is available at my local dealers.
Does anybody out ther have other makes, and if so what is your opinion of them?

In my opinion, Quad bikes are great until your first turn-over/spill. I gave my brother a Honda Quad that I got from a surplus shop some years back and found out the hard way their weakness: it easily tips over , more particularly if you get too confident taking a turn.

Broken ankle, right arm and all we sold it quick .

Pls. consider a trail bike too. I think this will do better. Unless you intend to always carry around with you some supplies and stuff.

    Just my two cents experience.

i have been using an atv/quad in our farm for almost 3 years now, it's indispensable! it's quite dangerous over paved roads so it's strictly for off-road use only. although it's just china-made it's quite durable. another option would be off-road karts, you can look them up on the web, you sit lower and it has a roll cage around you and sits two. they're available here in manila, i saw a store selling them along araneta avenue, qc.

How much ba yung mga quad-bikes na Japanese brands like Honda or Yamaha? Yung mga gawang China, magkano rin? Interested akong bumili noon pa. For "subdivision" use lang sana, strictly no offroading.

Quad Bikes-What are my options?
