How to change License Restriction

Mga peeps, pano ba padagdagan yun restriction ng driver's license ko? i always ride a motorcycle kasi but yun restriction na nakalagay sa license ko is "2" lang. which means i'm not allowed to operate a motorcycle. san po ba maglalakad nito?

go to a LTO Licensing center, not just a LTO district office. i know two, in east ave diliman and pasay roligon (past baclaran).

but better if your current license is near expiration, the process and fees are nearly the same as in applying for a new license (drug test etc)

Bro wac3 same problem .pero nag inquire na ako sa LTO ,,doon lang daw pwede mag add sa Main Office (LTO East ave.)better sabay mo na pag renew ng license mo ,kung malapit na rin lang ma Expired

FYI ,mainit ngayon ang mga traffic enforcer sa ganyan alam nila na kadalasan ay #2 lang ang code ng mga driver pero ang dami pa din nag MC kahit walang restriction code #1 for motorcycle,isa iyan sa pinag gagatasan nila

i know kasi kakahuli lang sa akin eh. hehehe pinakita sa akin yun fine it's P1,000. ang laki rin pala ng fine dito. buti na lang nalusutan ko thru negotiation and "pakiusap" yun mga lespu. :D

IMO, timing mo na din sa expiration ng license mo para isang lakaran, like what i did. same din procedure, bigyan ka ng form tapos meron dun kung ano additional info ang mababago like address or status, and also pati restriction code. Dadaan ka din sa usual na procedure like actual test drive ng ida-dagdag sa code mo. For code 1, syempre test mo yung motorsiklo nila. If you can bring your own bike or pasama ka sa meron, much better para less fees to pay.

I checked my license OR, yung additional RC fee is only 30 petot. add mo na license fee which is 240 and computer fee 52. So you pay around 300 plus for this process. But then, this is a couple of years ago kaya expect na may changes sa fees.

Good thing 1 and 2 ang restrictions ko nung una pa lang kahit hindi ako marunong mag motor hehehe.

yes, tama sila. isang lakaran na lang. that's what i did 3 years ago when i renewed my driver's license. you might be required to attend the seminar first. naalala ko pa nga nung pagtapos nang seminar at bigayan na ng temporary license, tinanong ako nung liason officer: "boy, may dala ka bang motor? kasi mag-dadriving test ka e..." sabi ko: sir wala po, kasi kaya nga ako nagpadagdag nang restriction para makapagmotor at di mahuli e.

dapat lang ata hehe, daming may license di naman marunong mag drive... mother in law ko 20 years na ata may license, ni isang beses di pa nakahawak ng manibela heheh

speaking of restrictions, nasusunod ba maigi yan? diba meron pa dun pag automatic clutch up to 4500 kgs only? does this mean kung AT ang dinadrive mo dapat meron din nito? parang ang labo ah.

sabay mo na pag-renew. ako dati sa tayuman office (early 90's) nag-exam for 3 restriction, sayang di ko pa nadamay ang 1. mura lang add'l. restrictions mga 50 petot lang.

re the pasay licensing ofc, is this the one along the airport road or the one in uniwide along the coastal rd?

happy gilmore, yung automatic clutch na restriction, pang automatic clutch lang ang pwede mo dalhin... pag 2, ibig sabihin pwede ka sa manual at sa matic...

matagal nang debate yang restriction 1 na iyan kasi kung titignan mo definition ng restriction 1, "vehicles up to 4,500kgs" (tama ba na 4.5k?).. so technically, pag 2 ang restriction mo, lahat ng vehicles, basta below 4500kgs, pwede mo dalhin... at ang motorcycle ay below 4500kgs...

on the other hand, pag 1, motor ka lang....

pero gaya nga ng nabanggit kanina, ginagawang gatasan, kaya kuha ka na lang ng restriction 1 asap, lalo na kung matagal pa ang expiration mo.. ganun talaga e...

been driving for 17 years now... with res of 2/3 as i drive my own truck/s occasionally... recently purchase a kawasaki zx130 i consider it as a scooter...(para makatipid sa gas)
yun din ang akala ko...that motorcycles are vehicles below 4500gvw

restriction ko is 1/2/3 gamit na gamit lahat.....

additional restriction code sa main talaga kunin, pero sa renewal sa mga satellite lng madali pa...

peeps thanks so much for the infos. may nagsabi nga sa akin sa tayuman or east ave magpadagdag ng restriction daw. i might go there when it's time to renew my license para hindi hassle.

btw, sabi sa akin ng lespu na humuli sa akin kumuha na lang daw ako ng certificate sa LTO pwede na raw. what does this mean? kahit di na ko magpa-add ng restriction pwede?
