June 22nd, 2011 03:40 PM #933I've been seeing Kia prides also that has Ford Festiva look. I'm sure some I see is just a "conversion" though. In my opinion, ok naman siya kahit KIA, why pretend to be another car/brand? Sad...
That for sure ain't no JDM ones, no need to look closely. You wouldn't put a P100k plus wheels on your cab anyways. Cute lang siya. hehe
Actually, some cars do need big mufflers w/ huge piping especially turbo cars / sportscars. But if you are an enthusiast, you can tell whether it is just like you said "siyento bente" sounding one or really a car that has it's engine roaring.

June 22nd, 2011 04:08 PM #934Yung taxi, most likely private yan na ginawang pangtaxi na lang ng may-ari. Binenta na yung stock wheels kaya bagsak nya sa aftermarket rims.
Tilting plate is effin' fail, though.

June 22nd, 2011 05:43 PM #940Ummm. Actually most owners of sportscars/performance cars I know of don't have silencers. I also don't have silencer, the muffler I have doesn't have one included. But like I said it's more of a solid deep note sound (kinda addictive actually
), rather than a fart muffler sound w/ the car going only 20 kph like many of us see everyday. hehe.
The more noisy I think are those having a SCAV exhaust. Many quick n.a boys use it. Very noisy talaga especially if used on popular n.a's w/ variable lift like Honda's Vtec or Nissan's NeoVVL, when the high lift of the cams engages the louder it gets... but still nothing similar w/ the fart muffler "syento bente" sound.
