yah, +1 lang siguro para sa opinion mo bro.vh3r.. CF sticker vinyl is an evolving rice trend.

Ok naman sana talaga yung Honda kung wala yung CF vinyl, I hope that he put the original/real one.

This has gone on a bit too long.

A non-sportscar has just as much "right" to have a body kit as a sports car as long as it is done in good taste.

It may or may not appeal to YOUR personal sense of taste but there is NOTHING wrong doing that.

Even a lowly Kia Pride can be fitted with a front chin and side skirts if the owner wanted it and if it looked good, then great for him. I wouldn't really call it "rice" as long as it is tastefully done.

Rice "gurus" ... there are RICEY cars and other times you are just plain overly sensitive over non-issues, which is may or may not result in the supposed "guru" taken as plain stupid or similar.

    Word of advise... "moderation".

How can you tell it's CF stickers? I can't tell from the picture. Were you the one who took the picture or are you just guessing?

It simply could be plain black vinyl sticker or even semi-gloss paint where the owner wanted a reverse semi-panda effect on his Jazz.

I find the overall effect to be rather nice, even if the black fenders might have been done with stickers...

I just don't like the windshield sticker... but it's a show car in a car show so I won't fault it.

that's the cefiro converted into a 5 series.

to add to the whole "rice" thing, i think that it is actually a derogatory/racist term started by white motorheads against the emerging import tuners back in the day. so it's a bit ironic that we use that against each other's rides if we find them tacky. eh pare-pareho lang naman tayong pinoy na naka-asian (japanese/korean or whatever) cars, so we shouldn't be too worried about the whole rice thing. its all a matter of taste and preference. some just have better taste than others. some are just naturally tacky. in other words, baduy.

Basta pang-show car, asahan mo na na OA at maaring may mga parts na hindi naman talaga magiging very reliable in the long run. Pang-show and no go.

Pero ang masakit ay yung hindi sports car pero kung yung tunog wh siento-bente. waw!

Basta sa porma, yung babagay ay yung effective pa rin sa performance ng car. Why add something that would not be adding benefit? waste of money diba.

I don't find it baduy simply because a Cefiro was converted to look like a BMW. If it was done right, you would find me admiring the work done. This is nothing different from people converting VW beetles into Porsche roadsters and 911 lookalikes. Even I would like owning one of those Roadsters.

Then there are bad examples like the mentioned Accord converted to look somewhat like a Merc sportscar. Unfortunately it was a very poor job. Waste of a Honda Accord.

Talagang hindi maiiwasan na may baduy. Mininformed kasi yung iba.

Id like to say my piece regarding this, ano. Hope no one would take it against me. I find the Cefiro rice since it was made to look like a car different than what it should be. It's no different with the Accord that was made to look like a Merc & the EG that was made to look like an R8. If the owners would want to turn heads, then, there are lots of things that could be done rather than toying with your car & making it look like it was made by a different maker, most of the time exotics or something really expensive. Kudos for the effort, yes. But in the end, if ever it was done right, then you're fooling no one but yourself. Ya`ll exotic wannabes should wake up !! Doesn't mean that your car looks like an exotic, people will be wow-ed, else, once people finds out that you're copying something else you'll get laughed at, embarrassed, and doesn't mean that your car looks like one, it will perform the same way.

Regarding the ano, Honda Jazz, may it be matte black or a cf sticker it still doesn't look right. Yung " panda look ", I beg to disagree. First of all it isn't white. Second, why would a sport-themed vehicle will be made to look like a panda? Some things just doesn't match.

Bottomline is, probably ( ako, assuming mode ... ) the owner was thinking that he could fool someone that his fenders are CF-ed coz it looks like one and his car is slapped with real CF's in some parts.

Yun lang. I would just like to say my piece. And I'm no rice/mod guru. Di ko naman pinangalanan sa sarili ko yan, some people just think I am one, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm way too far in being one pa.

i think the cefiro was made as a "show car" -- basically to showcase what Atoy can do. lacks taste, yes, but i think successful in a way because they really showed their craftsmanship with it. wouldn't spend my money to do something like this to my ride if i were to drive it everyday. i wouldn't even want to ride in it. hehehe

lacking taste comes in all levels.

    *mda_:

They would've had a much better effect if their showcase car is one that actually looks good though. I mean, if some tuning companies in other countries can do it, why not them? They can tie up with the ones with the knowledge to improve performance and spice it up further with attachments that actually make sense and not give off the rice effect.
