ahhh... ok. i get it. now i know how to classify a "rice" car. you have to consult the "masters" here first if they knew the owners of these rides. also, you have to agree with all their opinions or else they will gang up on you. nice!

rice--any body parts that are non-functional and executed wrongly or out of place or order.... anything na di tama, rice un....

kaya ako, sleeper setup parin.... mas makaksindak un than having those multi-exhaust pipes, sampayan spoilers and ground-scraping body kits!

As "always yummy" above mentioned, most mods that are non-functional are would be considered "ricey". I would also consider body decals (like stripes, etc) on otherwise stock cars also ricey. Thrown into the mix would be stuff like out of place bodykits... example would be bodykits for the corolla used on the sentra.

Well, putting in a sticker or two from the shops you've been to is acceptable.

Pero pag tinadtad mo ng sticker yung kotse mo without actually having the parts installed on that, iba na rin yun dating. *That* is garlic rice.

It's probably these people that ruined the rep of those who have the innards to show that the stickers aren't just for show.

+100, and a sleeper car will almost always run circles around rice cars!
Fasten your seatbelt! Or else... Driven To Thrill!

The same with why some cars have stickers of shops like speedyfix or big bert's or other shops around.

    I dont find it "ricey".

My Lancer EX had a speedlab sticker on it but it looked generally stock from the outside, I guess YOU would call it ricey without a second thought if you didn't know I owned that particular car.

I guess my ASX is also ricey because it's got a speedlab badge on it while still looking totally stock.
Amen to that sir.....sarap talaga mag basa at matuto dito.

Sometimes people forget (or gets carried away with the "flow") that "humility" in one's knowledge is just as important as anything else.

as if you can speed up more than 100kph here in metro manila.

    good luck :P

Basta I classify a " rice car " by looking at it personally, if somethings too odd for me then I`d classify it as something rice. Brands may not vary, I can even classify a bimmer as a ricer if he has a humongous wing & an oversized kit while on the other hand I can classify an econobox as a good-looking car if it's neatly dressed.

Regarding the stickers it will depend. For example, a car with a TEIN badge but is rocking a 4x4 stance IS rice while a car that's sporting a speedlab badge isn't rice AS LONG AS the sticker isn't FAKE. If it is, then your guess is as good as mine.

Just remember, everything too much is bad. Moderation is the key. Doesn't mean that you've been to speedlab, meguiars, bb, speedyfix or what not, you'll place their free stickers at your backglass. Choose what looks best. Probably five to six stickers lined up in one pile is acceptable. But more that ten ? I`d think about it ...
