I disagree about the stripes on an econobox. But still, I do agree that such is better on this car than, for instance, a Picanto, which is just plain ridiculous. (Seen my share of Picant*ts with ridiculous wings and racing stripes)

If it were me, I'd just opt for better rims. If said owner reaaaaally wants to stripes, then a single BLACK stripe slightly towards the driver side would look less ostentatious than the double-whites.

And about owner. Malabo matanda eh. Old people here tend to favor bigger cars. So most likely, we have a slightly younger one with no taste in this case.
