just admit it, you like ricey cars. Flashy paint jobs, stock rims, etc.
and bumpers of the 8th gen galant won't look good on a 7th gen. Each car has
its own styling direction
same as those lancer pizza with bumpers that imitate the current evo
I disagree. Don't believe what Hollywood is feeding your brain kiddoOriginally Posted by mikomac

I've been here long enough to see what's on the road, in annual auto shows, race circuits, Bear Jackson auctions and even the back alleys.
IMO, change your wheels.
Common mistake 'to sa mga gusto magcustomize ng car: they don't change the wheels first. Cars with added fluff and sporting stock rims don't look good. (That is, unless the stock wheels are pretty nice, which is quite rare for non-expensive cars)

Guess what, Civic FD Type R set up pa.Buti sana kung Euro set up pero hindi eh. JDM set up tapos Euro plates
Pero g*go diba?

Wala nalang siguro paki-alamanan.

Somehow, it reminds me of that car na napost na sobra dati dito, Picanto or Accent ata, na may JDM sticker, lol.
-
Also, something of a personal beef of mine: JDM junkies putting the 'Wakaba' sticker on their cars.

Accent ata yun brad.
Pero may isa pa ako nakitang may Wakaba badge.
Gen1 Hyundai Starex![]()

A Wakaba sticker is almost like putting an A1 sign that says "Student Driver", lol.
Parang feeling ko mga iba do it just for the flavor, pero malamang karamihan naglagay lang nun kasi "JDMKOOLERZZZZ1111" at di alam kung ano ibig sabihin nun.
Edit: Google Wakaba sticker. Apparently somebody who thinks he's clever made a Phil. Flag wakaba sticker. Ugh.

O well.. Pag ba nag palit ako ng trd Bumper for my hilux rice na din ba yun?
*SG:
Ah, Hyundai Accident pala yun.

Like I said, you can't please everybody. Yun lang nga, if somebody offers a different opinion than yours, respect it as such and don't try to pass as if your opinion is better than his.
Best looking Hilux ever.
Not really. AFAIK, RICE cars are not performance cars. Based on your username, I presume that you also own or used to own a galant. The pictures that I posted of the galants are not rice cars but real performance cars, maybe just like yours - VR4=all wheel drive-converted by their owners. And if the people here know the history of the mitsu lancer evolution, where it was derived from, then, maybe they could understand me why i like those cars. For the information and guidance of all concerned, the 6th gen. mitsu galant VR4 was the basis for Mitsubishi's participation in the 1988–1992 World Rally Championships. The Galant's 4G63 two litre DOHC turbocharged engine and 4WD transmission was later adopted for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution with little modification. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Galant
o, para sa mga magagaling na critics dyan, is this a rice car for you?

dude, we understand your passion para sa Galant
we know what performance is. that 2 tone galant you posted is now way modded for performance. paint and body kit lang yan. and fender vents
just look at the stance, the wheels and tires. no way built for performance yan
and the blue one is a showcar. it was built to win car shows, not races
*galant:
Additionally, whenever somebody bashes your car or a car you like, it counts the same as him expressing his opinion, and you also do not need to be burdened to prove yourself right.
Pero pansin ko, you post pics of cars you want to emulate in the hopes of getting the opinion of others. People criticize it for valid reasons. You, in turn, defend the cars in the pics. Why?
No, I'm not attacking you, just pointing out something. If you really like how a car looks, just do it, kahit na ano sabihin ng ibang tao. Your car, your money.
Basta, wag kang magbalat sibuyas if somebody bashes your design. Kasi it's his opinion. Just respectfully disagree and that's it.
Here's a nice clean modded Galant which i don't think looks ricey(opinion ko lang po). CLean looking skirts and flares and decent looking rims..

If you want to imitate those cars you posted, go ahead and make your Galant look like those cars. It's your money anyway and baka ganun lang talaga taste mo. If that would make you feel good, why not do it? For you ganun yun maganda diba?
No offense to you personally pero in my opinion those are really good examples of RICE cars. They have a lot of rice mods and parts. I wouldn't want to be in one of those cars, mahihiya lang ako pag may makatabi akong EVO or other real performance cars. I would rather drive an entry level car than a rice modded Galant.
I won't put any of those useless mods on any of my cars. For me its a total waste of my money.
*IamJoyluck - sorry but for me Ricey pa din yan but not as bad as what galant e ss posted. For Galants, I'd rather put in 18 inch japanese wheels from Rays, Work or Enkei then subtle drop of 1-1.5 inches. Subtle skirts will do and no widebody or other exaggerated body kits
