I recently bought an after market pedal set for my Civic ES AT. The previous owner had also installed an aftermarket pedal set, but the brake and gas pedals are too close to each other so I replaced them with a new one that's a bit smaller to prevent stepping on both of them at the same time when transitioning from gas to brake or vice versa. I was able to install the pedal for the brake, but I can't seem to remove the rubber (OEM) for the gas pedal. Anybody here knows how to remove it? It seems it has been bolted on, unlike for the brake pedal, it is just a slip on. What tools do I need? And in case the holes don't match, do I have to drill one just to be able to screw it properly? I tried having it installed in various shops like Honda casa, carwash shops, and accessories shops like L.A. Cars but they seem to be uninterested. Please help. Thanks in advance.
