It happened to me several times already. I am force to do counter maneuvers rightwards. Buti na lang laging walang sasakyan sa right side ko so may room ako to move out.

If yes, what do I need to do?

What you need to do is always be a defensive driver and think that the vehicle in front of you will make a stupid and inconsiderate move especially those PUV drivers.

I agree. It's not the car's color, but those jackarses who just swerve in and out

    Vehicles to Avoid if possible:

1.) Armored Car - mga walang pakialam ng driver. Conterflow, swerving, you name it!
2.) Jeepneys - Lalo kung nasa outer lane. Me tendency biglang kumabig pakanan kapag me pumara.
3.) Trycicles - Most of the time hindi tumitingin sa side mirror

if that is the case (due whether to jackarses or car color) just observe defensive driving techniques. when cruising, make sure there are no vehicles to both left and right sides - always leave yourself a way out. don't drive at a pace where you will be side by side with another vehicle for a long time. the only time there should be a vehicle beside you is:
a.) when you are passing them,
b.) when they are passing you, and
c.) when in heavy traffic in which case everyone is aware of vehicles besides their vehicle anyway.

kapag maulan naka on ang park lights ko, for added visibility. I'll turn on the headlights if I have to.
pero kapag umuulan at wala kang makita, don't move. just don't.
I dont' think the car's color has anything to do with it.

Not sinadya, but not focusing on his driving.

Agree with this. Yung kinausap ko na insurance comoany dati sabi vehicle color is not considered a factor sa accident risk ng car. It's more of vehicle use and driver metrics (is the person himself accident prone or a high accident risk, lifestyle habits, weight, medical considerations etc). Hindi raw talaga factor ang kulay.

It's true that some car colors tend to blend/camouflage better with the environment under certain lighting conditions (daytime, dawn, dusk, nightime). This can get compounded during inclement weather.

That said, you just have to be a careful driver under any condition as well as practice defensive driving (as many have already suggested).

you are staying at the blind side far too long. drivers swerve in your lane because there is room in front of you, meaning you are driving too slow. okay lang magbabad sa blind side if there is a car in front of you.

that above or when you pass them going fast you dont honk your horn.

but im betting you just drive slow

The first incident happened while I was on EDSA Guadalupe northbound then sa ilalim nung MRT station. Even if it was 1.30PM, it was quite dark there and traffic was slow moving. Dikit ko naman yung nasa harap ko pero for some reason yung katabi ko sa left biglang gusto pumasok sa lane ko with half of my car was already ahead of him. Buti nakakabig ako pakanan. After that incident, lagi ko na lang ino-on yung parklights ko with fogs even at daytime.

At this point I am considering installing a DRL na.

at 2pm? have your eyes checked

i agree may bearing yun kulay pero factor din yung:

    vision ng driver.

environment madilim ba? walang ilaw samahan mo pa ng ulan.

the car might be on the blind side mo or ikaw nasa bkind side niya.

Btw I drive a gray metallic vehicle and I drove a black vehicle before that for many years. No car collision accidents either thankfully.
