I had china made rubber mats on my civic before na nagbakbak at nagpunit-punit agad after just 4 or 5 years. The US made rubber mats on my fieldmaster which are older than the civic's are still in tact as of date (now 14 years old). So to answer your question sir, yes it matters. At least based on my experience.
