Its taiwanese, and is a very established brand there.

Pero mejo madalas ako mag out of town at madalas ako madale ng gutter lol. Makapal pa naman and so far no issues.

Thank guys for the responses. I'm overwhelmed since it's my first time to start a thread. Tsikot really helps.

Same sentiment Sir. We should always consider the quality along with the price when it comes to vehicle and its parts. Buhay pinag-uusapan sa mga ganitong scenario.

    GT Tires are Indonesian made.
And one of the primary products of Indonesia is rubber.

Aside from GT radials, other Indonesian brand tires are ACHILLES (alternative choice of racers to GT) & DELIUM. They both have great looking symmetric & asymmetric tires. Don't underestimate Indonesian made tires. Even Bridgestone has some of their tires made in Indonesia.

GT is a budget brand but has launched more upscale offerings. The SUV tires (Saveros?) we tested at their local launch were pretty good. Grip of the new tires are really good. Di ko mapaiyak sa kapit. Don't know about how strong the carcass is though. The old Saveros were slippery but the new gen ones are much better.

I think westlake is chinese brand. Is it any good? Price is lower than branded ones and I saw a couple of tire shop selling westlake in abad santos seems like they are getting more and more dealers.

sa dalawa luma ko car isang 2007 Santa Fe saka isang 2005 Explorer, pareho Westlake gamit ko, so far so good. tried and tested na both summer and rainy season, works ok.

but I wouldn't buy a Westlake yet for my newer cars like MUx & Ranger, Bridgestone pa din

niweys, kaya lang naman westlake lang sinalpak ko kasi malay mo bigla mabenta yan 2 luma ko cars, though its not yet for sale
