Using hazard lights during bad weather is not advisable. It's been thoroughly discussed in these forums.

let's just agree to disagree. at almost zero visibilty on bad weather, i will definitely use my emergency flasher. had experienced this many times in NLEX, heavy downpour of rain. many drivers are doing this and i appreciate that i can see their cars in front of mine.

of course under normal driving conditions, you will use the emergency flasher for its intended use only.

    monkey see monkey do

Yan nga ang misnomer na dapat baguhin, kaya nga tayo andito sa forum to educate and para matuto ano ba ang dapat.

yes visible nga kaso you're creating confusion, yung naka on na nga hazard lights sabay switch pa ng lane.

ang hirap i-anticipate saan pupunta. bad motoring etiquette.

    Sorry for the OT

Unless you will be on a full stop on the side of the road. Kung zero visibility eh d wag muna magdrive. Like in my case, kapag nakita ko na may nakahazard lights sa harap ko, I automatically assume na nakahinto ito.

if it's raining heavily and all cars in front you in NLEX (and even cars behind you) have their hazard lights turned on, will you still assume nakahinto silang lahat? kung zero visibility, i will park the car by the road side. i can't drive blind. no arguing with that.

    In front - YES
    Behind - Don't care

That is supposed to be the message that it sends to other motorists.

If you are doing that on purpose, pero you are still careful on switching lanes, well that's fine. A lot of those who knows them learned to accept them.

guys sorry for stirring the thread.
(personal experience and i was really scared that time it happened)
pasensya na ulit sa OT. thanks sa replies, i guess ill just have this led light installed as i dont want to use the hazard light naman kung di kailangan. di bale na siguro masama sa baduy thread :D

:rofl01::rofl01:

    Because JDM yo!

It would've been better (or worse) if the car is a Nissan Cube/Toyota xB.
