Haay. Mabuti sana if they were the ones who bought the car and spend for its upkeep.

My folks were pretty shrewd. They made us buy our cars on our own kasi. Their motto was "you have to earn it to deserve it". They didn't like what brats some of their colleagues' kids were kaya for the longest time, bulok yung mga kotse naming magkakapatid & magpipinsan... 70's & 80's vintage cars we managed to keep running somehow till we were financially independent enough to buy our own

And they'd never let us touch their cars (except only to wash & clean them- usually as parusa for some kalokohan nagawa namin)

When I was younger, I thought of doing something similar to my cars. Then, it occurred to me the engineers who designed the car probably already had designed the car to be its best.

maybe some folks think they can do better...

that car is so low... is it only a static model?
    heh heh.

those who found out they lowered the car too much,
how long before they decided to higher it a bit?

I've had my car lowered 'too much' for about 8 months, and just last week I've decided to raise it a bit higher since it was painful to daily drive it on the streets of Metro Manila. I always fear that I might scrape the road ahead.

It was also scary to take it on out-of-town trips because of the fear of damaging something underneath.

noong uso ang drag race sa libis naka lowered car ako

aside from the bumper meron dents and scrapes ang oil pan hehe

minsan meron rocks sa gitna ng kalye i can't let the rock pass underneath the car like when driving a normal car

pero minsan mabilis ang takbo di na maiwasan so the rock passes underneath and the noise it makes is very very concerning so itatabi ko ang car to check kung nabutas ang oil pan luckily never naman nabutas pero may tama hehe

meron bar underneath the car (may strut bar sa taas, meron din bar sa ilalim pang stiffen ng chassis) so that bar underneath took a lot of hits (thank you for your sacrifice )
