buti nga tuktuk nilagay ko sa thailand kase kahit wala sila own brand nila eh automotive super manufacturer sila and ang tuktuk wala imbalanced kabig versus the phil tricycle trash

the tuktuk or motorized rickshaw, originated from countries elsewhere from thailand, but it was adopted and popularized by thailand.
the same for the jeepney, which originated from america but was adopted by the philippines.
as such, i see thailand and the philippines at about equal standing with regards to this borrowing of technology.

there were several local companies that were initially interested in the electrification of the internal combustion engine for public utility vehicles.
they even presented their initial prototypes.
