These were copied from the rear roof spoiler that was built into the Lancer Evo 7/8/9. If your car is not an Evo, then it is entirely pointless to have them.

Probably. Another thing, chrome also looked good in older cars. Kaso modern na yung cars nila, pinipilit pa rin yung lumang itsura kaya di bagay.

Ahh it is the so called 'vortex generators' na inilalagay sa rear part ng roof para magmukha daw na astig. 😂

Mukhang astig at tunog astig pero as usual marami dyan "all show, no go".

Heck, I had this incident of a Swift 1.2L with spoilers, body kits, 17" rims, big exhaust pipes, and some stickers. He was desperately trying to cut me off while I am driving my FXT. Either he is stupid or completely clueless.

Yes, andaming ganyan sa kalye. One time, may nakasabay akong pickup sa nlex to mindanao ave., a lifted hilux 2.8 g with big mags and led headlights. Hataw siya dun sa may stretch at sinusubukan pang maglata pero nung may traffic na at may slow trucks sa lane niya hindi ko pinagbigyan makasingit eh. Kaya nag high beam sakin sa likod nang tuloy tuloy na shet, sakit sa mata, tapos nung nasa intersection na iniwan ko lang siya nung may inovertake akong mabagal na lumang everest eh. Tapos di na siya umubra dahil daming katabi puro mababagal at ang laki niya kaya di siya makasingit. Naiwan siya. Stock na city vx yung dala ko. 😂

Actually the one I saw weren't vortex generators. They were shark fin antennas. Like this:

IIRC even the Civic type R has vortex generators.

Well part of the reason siguro why filipinos love their chrome is because it somewhat gives their car a luxurious look!? Like yung LandCruiser na lang eh.... slabs of chrome din naman all around. Tapos like sa Volvo XC90, as you go to the TOTL, punong puno din ng chrome even sa window panels.

Baduy nga yung mga chrome or matte black garnish sa mga ilaw. Common ko nakikita to sa mga Fortuner, Innova, or Vios. Di ko alam kung magaling lang yung agent or iba yung trip ng owner.

Yes! I see it a lot sa vios! Another thing I hate that is common with the vios are those blinking tail lights. It irritates the hell out of me. Not only is it tacky, but it's dangerous as well.

Everything has to be so loud And it's not just with cars, sa lahat

* uls and wh1sl3r, yeah, lots of accessories. It was 20+ yrs. Ago his first car, even a chrome ornament on the hood. He doesn't do that anymore, but his nickname's stuck with him for the rest of his life.[emoji38]

I really hate chrome garnish on tail lights, gas tank cover and door handles.

But I totally agree with whistler that chrome looks good on old cars.
