I just bought 4 195/55R15 Nankang tires for my Dad's Sentra as a gift. Premature kasi ang mga pagkaupod due to faulty wheel alignment done at his mechanic's shop (string method). Now, I brought the car to our local Goodyear Servitek.
Here's the problem: my dad claims that there were humming sounds now and some vibrations after the alignment. I test-drived it, kumpirmado! I brought it back again * the Servitek and after some test, the mechanic there said that OK naman yung ginawa nila. Must be the front wheel bearings daw.
Heto ang FRONT alignment measurement nila:
right side - +0.05
left side - +0.10
TIA !
might be maingay ang Nankang tires mo. kung ugong ang naririnig like a "whirrrrrrrr" sound at lumalakas ang sound habang umaandar then confirmed wheel bearings nga.
Tnk bro! Yung wheel bearing ang sira. OK na.
As for the Nankang tires, they are performing quite well.![]()

Fortunately the last tire change I had, ok pa yung existing ball joints.
As a side note, I found that aftermarket ball joints (555) last way longer than OEM (Mitsubishi) ones.
Thats a good sign of a responsible vehicle owner..
