I learned to drive using our family Mitsubishi Minica. We bought it second hand and my Dad had it undergo a facelift and overhaul. Sadly, naka-garahe nalang ngayon.

Now I drive a 2004 Mitsubishi Adventure GLS Sport. Eto yung 2004 model na just before the new facelift. 2.5liters of 4D56 diesel power!!! Puro safety related ang mods ko. Nilagyan ko lang ng rear under mirror sa back at extra side mirror sa hood (right side only). Also, I added circular wide view mirrors sa side mirrors ko and attached yellow 3m reflector stickers sa top ng rear lights. My 1 year old son loves it! Oh, and he has his own car seat installed.

Future mods planned (if I get lucky and have some extra money to use)...

1. improve sound setup... amps, tweets and a sub.
2. bullbars, spoiler and side steps
3. tire change (wider)
4. add claddings
5. maybe a dvd player
6. the ultimate! change engine to 4d56tdic!

However, I'd probably just get me a Mitsubishi G-Wagon or a local gen2.5 Pajero when I get the money.

Lastly, I just like to express how much I marvel at the manueverability of the Mitsubishi Adventure! Hanep na AUV talaga! I love this car!

I second RafRaf's sentiments regarding the 2004 Adventure. Maganda ang maneuvering at malakas ang hatak. I own the "face-lifted" model Adventure, and I must say it definitely looks more stylish and ***ier than the competing brands, apart from the markedly improved performance. If the original Adventure was a baby version of the Pajero, the new Adventure now has its own identity. My in-laws swear by their 1999 Adventure (GLX, 2.5L diesel) so I had no difficulty deciding which AUV to get. Plus may kapitbahay pa kaming taga-Mitsubishi, so may katulong na agad ako sa maintenance.

Some accessories I had installed:

1. Rear spoiler with third brake light
2. Rain visors
3. Surestep side stepboards with running lights
4. Rear sensors



Specs:

- 2.5L 4D56 diesel powerplant
- 5-speed manual transmission
- all power features
- rack-and-pinion steering with power assist
- redesigned front fascia
- multi-reflector halogen headlamps

Tires, mags, sound system (Kenwood 6-speaker CD tuner), suspension all stock (for now).

Carnappers beware! Dahil may ultimate security system ang sasakyang ito: Used brief sa manibela! Siguradong walang ibang magtatangkang i-drive ito!
